This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Tim McGraw and Sandra Bullock were totally believable in their roles. This is definitely Sandra Bullock's best character yet...I would recommend it to everyone, even the children. It has good lessons for all of us and nothing too graphic for anyone.

I had inteneded to see this movie for about 2 months. Since I had seen the trailer. It was planned as a date night. My date and I both enjoyed the movie, it was as expected, well made true story of a kid from the projects who had above average physical and athletic skills that was met by an affluent family who wanted to help.
Sandra Bulloch really carried the show!
I highly recommend it to both families and couples.

First of all, there's NO reason to watch this on a big screen. You can get the same enjoyment out of it if you watch it on tv.
This is as close to a "chick flick" you can get, WITHOUT being a "chick flicK". The football sequences should be enough for most guys like myself (who prefer action, epic films) to prevent them from going asleep.
