Pretty good movie for teens and up. Good story and lots of action .The chimps look more human than apelike, but that makes it more engaging. Not much bad language and no sex-just a lot of violent apes!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My 19 y/o son and I saw this together and we are clearly the target audience for this film-we have read the books and watched the movies together since he was 8. Just as Harry's fans have grown up, so has this movie, and we enjoyed it's faithful following of the book.
It is a bit more violent than any of the previous films and because of that (and the fact that there really are no children in the films anymore) I would not recommend it for kids under age 9 or so.
Saw this with my husband and 3 adult/teenage sons. We have been to all the Toy Story movies over the years, and I think this was our favorite. Very funny parts at the beginning, lots of adventures for Woody. More violent and scary than the first two. I found myself getting a little choked up towards the end-maybe because I was siting by my son who's leaving for college this fall...
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Amazing blend of live/animation.

Alice is an amazing blend of live actors with 3D computer animated special effects. With the pale makeup worn by all the actors it is hard to tell who/what is real and what is animated. The Queen of hearts in particular. Sill don't know if that was Helena Bonham Carter's head attached to a tiny animated body or if the wholeQueen was drawn. But aside from that, the plot and tone are a little dark and violent for a kids movie, but not really interesting enough for a teen/adult movie.
Saw "The Blind Side" this weekend with my husband and 17 yr. old son. We all enjoyed it. Great message- to always be aware of those who do not have all the things we take for granted. sandra bullock is great-always love watching her. And the acotr who plays the youngest son almost steals the show!
The latest (and probably last) installment in the Indiana Jones series is long on special effects and a little light on plot and humor. But for my husband and I, it was still good to see Harrison Ford and Karen Allen reunited, even though they are more than a little past their action film prime. We would have preferred to see more of them playing off each other and less cheesy special effects (and way less of bland Cate Blanchett.), but our 13 year old loved Shia LeBeouf swinging through the jungle on those computer animated vines. A movie that a teenager will actually attend with his parents-how can I complain?
