The balance of comedy and fine acting was terrific in Date Night. Steve Carell's timing and ability to compel likability to a character is superb, and Tina Fey's performance is self defining. There were times I was the only one laughing in this movie because a lot of the humor was so subtle I don't think everyone got it. To me I'd rate this 9 out of 10 for a comedy second only to the first time I saw "There's something about Mary".

I thought it was cute and funny, but not as funny as I expected from Tina Fey and Steve Carrell. I guess, though you have to expect that, being that it's rated PG-13. My wife and I went to see Date Night on our "date night". From the opening scene to outtakes at the end, this movie hit closer to home than any movie has for us in a while. I wholeheartedly recommend this movie for any married 30 or 40-somethings out there as I believe you'll get more out of it than just an awesome comedy.

I love both actors in this movie. We all know Steve Carell and Tina Fey are hiliarous by themselves, so naturally you think that together they would be AMAZING. Unfortunately, due to my high expectations, I was disappointed. I think the movie was funny - but more action oriented than I thought and I was looking more for funny, witty jokes. It definitely had its moments and was a funny movie but nothing that I wouldn't wait to watch in the comfort of my own home...

My family and I loved it a lot! I haven't laughed like this in a movie theatre for so long. The relationship between the husbands and the wives were soooo real that my husband and I could defenitely relate to. Very nice acting!
