My 73 year old mom and I saw this movie today. We both LOVED it! I found myself teary-eyed through most of it and so did my mom, although we couldn't quite articulate why. Justin Bieber is a true and amazing talent, and there wasn't a thing we could find that was wrong with him! The movie shows that he has worked very hard and is a really good soul with such supportive family and friends. I can't wait to take my 11 year old daughter to see the movie as an excuse to see it again!!! My next step is checking out Justin's concert dates and locations. I will definitely go if he is anywhere near us!! THERE IS SOMETHING MAGICAL ABOUT THIS KID. :)
No, this wasn't a great movie, but it was entertaining. I'd see this any day over Inception. What a bore that movie was! And, no, I didn't "miss" anything and get confused. It was just bad. At least Piranha was fun! It just would have been better to have more piranhas than boobs.
Wow, what a waste of my birthday time! I spent over 21/2 hours on my birthday watching this crap. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way but am amazed that we are in the minority. My mom and I were actually laughing hysterically when they started "floating" in the air! I said to my mom, "And I didn't think it could get any worse!" I really like Leo, and so does she, but this is one of the worst movies I've seen. What are these other people seeing??? Do yourself a favor and wait for the DVD, if you really find it necessary to watch at all!
I wanted to like this movie because I like both the stars - especially Tina Fey and her imitation of Sarah Palin! Unfortunately, only the first third of the movie was interesting when it showed the reality of being married for years. That was funny. After that, just dumb stuff. Really not worth it!
This was a complete waste of time and money. Most of the movie was just boring. I also figured it out 1/4 of the way into it. I was really looking forward to seeing it, too! My daughter, age 10 1/2, had NO idea what was going on, and I doubt she was the only one (and I'm including adults)! What a disappointment.
I was so excited to see this movie after seeing the previews. I took my mom for her birthday and my two kids. Awful!! What a bore and then how ridiculous! When you find yourself laughing at the "scary" parts, you know something's wrong. The dialogue was lame. The movie was a waste of time. One of the worst I've seen in a long, long time. Rent Anthony Hopkins' The Edge instead from Nextflix!
Sorry, Vince. I went to see this because of you, and you alone. I should have re-rented Wedding Crashers. THAT was funny. This is NOT funny. I chuckled a couple of times during the almost 2 hour movie. I can't remember the last time I checked my watch so many times. At one point, I whispered to my friend, "Did I say this was a comedy?" SAVE YOUR MONEY!
I did not want to see this movie. My mom and I were looking for something to do, and I just happened to read all the positive reviews on here. So glad I did! This was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Loved Pulp Fiction, and this is probably the next best for Tarantino. For as long as a 2 1/2 movie is, I looked at my watch and couldn't believe there were only 35 minutes left! Incredible dialogue, intensely emotional scenes, and phenomenal acting. Go see it! Oh, my gosh - Christoph Waltz!!!!!
I don't think I have ever dozed off before in a movie. I love movies! This was a total bore. We chuckled maybe 1 1/2 times. The movie kept trying to be funny but failed. Don't waste your money. Even my kids (ages 12 and 10) didn't like it. I was actually hoping the movie was longer so I could have a good nap by the time I realized how boring it was!!!!!!
