This is the best movie I've seen in months! I smiled through the entire movie and loved every minute of it. The 2 1/2 hours went by all too quickly...I wanted more. Saw it with my girlfriends but can't wait to take my husband....he's a big SATC fan too. Any man, worth his weight in gold, should love this movie too!!

Oh the fashion! While at some points, I thought the fashion was a bit much- the ball gown skirt at the market- it was pretty fabulous and vintage SATC. I thought there were some laugh out loud parts courtesy of Charlotte and Samantha. It was decent. It just didn't need to be 2 1/2 hours long.

With the exception of the beginning regarding Miranda's life changing decision (and any of us who know Miranda know she couldn't have been completely okay with her choice without soon regretting it), I felt that the actresses were much easily able to slip back into their characters in this film. In the last film some of the acting seemed forced, and here it was evident that it was much more natural. I was also disappointed in a way with the corn syrupy ending, but all in all, it was great to have the girls back!

Please let a classic NYC girls movie end already. Kind of like Seinfeld, the writer knew a good thing and when to let it end gracefully. The fashion is surperb, storyline OK (a bit over the top) and quite frankly seeing middle aged woman live out their sexual fantasies(Samantha) get's a bit old. I love the SATC girls but please do them justice and let it go!

Ugh. Of course, I had to see it, in spite of the poor reviews which were, sadly, on the money, if not generous. Schlocky from beginning to end. Everything was over the top in a cringe-inducing way, the jokes were tired, the girls were tired....if you're a die hard fan, of course you have to see it but lower the bar. Just check it off the list of fan duty. I hope they hang it up after this--if this is the best they can do, well, SATC 3 would be a crime.

This movie is impossibly bad on every level. It's hard to find anything to like about it. In fact, I can't. The writing is ghastly, either written by corporate committee or on some drunken weekend. But as bad as the story and dialog are the directing is hideous, the make up is caked on with a fork lift, the cinematography is awful and the lighting director should be shot. Every scene is horrifically unflattering to these attractive women and it's hard to look at, much less wade through for two and a half hours. Kim Cattrall must want to eviscerate everyone in charge and wonder why no one had their backs. It's like the equally awful "The Women," in which Annette Bening and every woman looked old and sad. Didn't anyone look at this when the scenes were shot and say, "Gosh fellas, this looks really awful, maybe we should fix the damn lighting!?" Who was in charge? Oh, Michael Patrick King, who wrote, produced, and directed this mess. Does he hate women or did he have a stroke?

Sorry, but I was very disappointed in this sequel. It definitely did not live up to all the promotional hype, and left much to be desired. And I'm a HUGE fan of the series and absolutely loved the first movie. If only John Corbett's guest starring as Aidan had been kept a secret--that would've been huge and I probably would have enjoyed the film that much more. But all the major plotlines were given away in the previews. At least with the first movie, Big leaving Carrie at the altar and Carrie's meltdown afterwards were huge plot points that were kept secret. With this sequel there were no surprises and I couldn't help but wonder, "Am I actually bored???"

Although I am an avid SATC devotee, this movie was not near as good as the first one. Some of the characters were more like a caricature of themselves. Samantha was too over the top, Charlotte was too wimpy/straight-laced. Carrie was, well, Carrie, and Miranda was her usual strong, take-charge woman. The men, however, were outstanding! Big was as always to-die-for. Aiden looked fabulous, and the new man, the Dane, was OMG hot! It was certainly worth seeing, but the first SATC was far superior.

First let me say that those expecting some great plot or SATC from 5 years ago, be prepared. This is about life, with a flair that most of us don't get to experience. That being said, and being a gay man, I enjoyed it and laughed more times than I can remember, enjoyed the touching moments, and understood what the movie was about. Was so great to catch up with the girls again! Even if some of the story line was a bit of a stretch, the girls are still fabulous in all aspects and it was a great night out! I know a lot of the published reviews were not strong for this movie, but I really think whoever wrote them were never fans to begin with. Definitely not worth the $10 Ultra Screen fee. Lacked any substance, the one liners at the beginning were awful and the clothes were super ugly. Carrie is supposed to be a fashion queen? Nope. Charlotte's character is super annoying. Miranda was actually easier to like, and Samantha was the only reason it was a decent movie. Plus all the guys she is with in the movie are really hot but I found myself falling asleep at the end of the movie..didn't need to be 2 1/2 hours long! They tried too hard and the actors acted like they were trying too hard...wait for it to come out on rent. Hopefully it's the last one.

This estrogen filled bore of a film only seems to be enjoyable to women who have drank the Kool Aid. The story has no forward movement, the jokes (if you could call them that) are predictable and saccharin sweet and to be quite honest, these women are most certainly on the other side of hot. In these times, it is hard to watch four wealthy women spend so lavishly while complaining about everything in their lives. Ladies, do your man a favor and let him off the hook on this one. Men, do whatever it takes to avoid this one--you will thank me later.
