I attended with my two twnety-something daughters and their friends ~ feeling VERY privileged to be invited, complete with dinner prior to the movie. I approached it as if I was watching a comic-book movie - not realistic, but great fun. It was everything I expected ~ over the TOP outfits, jewelry & antics. WE LOVED IT!!!

You know, the first SATC answered all of our questions about the end of the TV series. The second SATC was more of an episode of the movie. There were no huge elements of surprise that I expected. I didn't want to see a vacation during there lives now, I wanted to see progression. For example: Carrie getting prego or Samantha finally setteling down, Charolette having an affair or Miranda having more of a prominent role or situation (she's always the less interesting of them all). Where is the excitement. Carrie Kissing Aiden was not surprising or exciting, it was sad. I hope the 3rd is better and I may not even see it in the first weekend if the previews don't peak my interest enough. Overall, yes it was entertaining but I wanted to be left feeling like I do when I watch the Twilight movies. In aww and yearning for the next one. Get it together for SATC3

My friends and i actually walked out of the theater we were so disappointed & bored! We weren't the only ones walking out! We planned our whole weekend around it! i will rent in on netflix to see the rest of it but it really was insulting, depressing, and way over-the-top! The fashion was horrible and I would never be caught dead in those ridiculous outfits. Plus Carry's character pissed me off, it made me angry cause after the entire series and the 1st movie...Carrie finally gets what she wants, Mr. Big marries her,,,but now she is unhappy again so in the end...Carrie is never satisfied and that really pissed this girl off! Carrie is not somebody to look up to at all!!!

The movie was great and was a great ending to an amazing show. I think that this movie was able to tie up all the loose ends and now I feel at peace with the ending of SATC.

This is definitley a movie that inspires and brings out each of the characters in where they are in their lives life. I loved how you could easily relate to each of them in a different way wether dealing with being a new married couple or parenthood. It's one of those movies that makes for a great escape and a good time to just bond with your girlfriends.

I love the tv series and the first movie. This movie was really good, but not quite as good as the first one. It was definitely different from the series, but what were the writers going to do? It made the movie fun and exotic to have it based in Abu Dhabi. I felt like this movie wasn't as much of an emotional roller coaster like the first one, which made the first one more like the series and seemingly more entertaining. However this movie still had the quirky humor of the series and it was nice, fun and light. I've already seen this one twice in theaters and can't wait for the dvd.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie - great cast, costumes, scenery, and script. It is a total escape film - light-hearted. As usual, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, and Kristin Davis are wonderful. This group has such an easy, natural chemistry and not a weak link in the group -- they all inhabit their characters very willl. Fabulous costumes, scenery and sets. Yes, there are some cliches and predictable moments, but overall, it's a lot of fun.

The writer of SATC did it again!!! I actually wasn't that excited to see this movie. It looked a little cheesy to me and I didn't think it would be as good as the first movie. Surprisingly, I enjoyed this one as much if not more than the first movie!
I thought from the previews that it would be two hours of these women bragging how much money they have and showing off their ridiculously expensive clothes, but the writing really made me get sucked into their fantasy world.
One of the most touching scenes was with Charlotte and Miranda at their hotel room bar talking about how tough it is to be a mom. I'd definitely see it again and recommend it to friends!

I am a huge fan of the show and really enjoyed the first movie. However, SATC 2 was not that good. The movie didn't take place in New York, the story line wasn't very good (although I did like the conversation between Miranda and Charlotte on the difficulty of being a mother), and you see very little of the supporting cast members. I am such a fan I would probably go see a 3rd movie, I would just hope that they go back to New York and what made the series so good, the fashion, the men and the bond between the four women.

The movie depicts a level of friendship bonds that we would all love to have! I think we can all relate to these ladies at some level. The movies have a sense of adventure, a bit edgy at times, but because of the strong character development, the behavior is perfectly aligned! And of course the fashion is always a great reason to see the movie at least 2 or 3 times. Love the girls and look forward to Sex and the City 3!

I went to the movies with my girlfriends and it was something I haven't done in a long time. We all agreed that when the movie would premiere we would see it together. I'm a huge fan of SATC! after I saw the first one I was a bit skeptical of what the sequel might bring, but after I saw it it's still the same four women doing their thing but with more Glam and a few surprises! it was smart, funny and witty with a few sentimental moments in between. I would recommend it.

SATC2 is much funnier and light-hearted than SATC1. The fashion is great.....mostly. Not a big fan of the hats. The women, true soulmates, were absolutely beautiful. I'm 50, and I really wish I could look a tenth as good as they do!! Once again, great eye candy where the men are concerned.

I was disappointed. Yes people grow and change, but these characters just didn't feel like themselves. Carrie is selfish, unappreciative, and entitled. Miranda all of a sudden doesn't care about work ... blink-of-an-eye about-face in the movie. And what was most prominent to me was the fact that these are highly privileged, self-absorbed women who decide to trounce around in the Middle East as though there's no war, horror, or catastrophic loss of lives going on over there. They're oblivious and self-centered - not just while they're obsessed with New York but even when they're given the opportunity to open their minds and expand their horizon by traveling outside of their comfort zones (ie Fifth Ave). Nevertheless, it's an aesthetic, showy movie with a few good jokes worth some light-hearted fun. But don't hope to be inspired.

I really enjoyed this movie. I read some critic reviews before I went and most were harsh and unforgiving. This movie, in my opinion, is not to be taken seriously as if it is life changing, but to be taken in as a fun, exciting adventure that lets you escape into the world of friendship, love and fashion. Sure, there were parts that made me say, "Oh yeah right!" but that's also what's so fun about this movie. They are still "Fabulous" and I will always love those girls.

I loved all the fashionable clothes, the theme for the gay wedding, the swarvoski sparkle cake, the unforgetable Ms. Samantha Jones and her crazy adventures i think she is the one who brings the spice into Sex & The City 2 & part 1 & all the series combined. All 4 girls did an amazing job. No complaints. I really hope they come out with part 3 with Samantha Jones actually getting married, and Ms. Carrie & Big Finally having kids.

After just watching the first Sex and the City movie just last week for the first time, I thought the sequel was very good. Normally most sequels fall short of the original but this one was very much as entertaining as the original. Never having watched the TV series I only have the first movie as my basis of opinion but as a guy, this Chic Flick was entertaining and funny and I would recommend it to most of my friends.

I have seen Sex and the City 1, so I had to see the second one as well. I enjoyed it so much, those four girls are the best - they are there for each other - real girlfriends. I loved the part of the movie, which showed the mysterious and exotic part of U.A.E - beautiful dresses, mysterious music and those markets - it made me dream and feel like flying around on the magic carpet - as I mentioned it made me dream for a little bit, even though that is only the rich part of the Middle East. I have learned out of this movie, that we need to respect the tradition of other countries, we cannot just go there and be ourselves - Samantha got in trouble because of that, lol..... I liked the movie and I would suggest it to my friends anytime.

Hilarious movie that any girl would love! Interesting plot with Abu Dabi. Considering I have family over there, much of what was going on in the film is true, but they put a comical twist on it. Definitely worth the ticket!
