I am a huge fan of the show and really enjoyed the first movie. However, SATC 2 was not that good. The movie didn't take place in New York, the story line wasn't very good (although I did like the conversation between Miranda and Charlotte on the difficulty of being a mother), and you see very little of the supporting cast members. I am such a fan I would probably go see a 3rd movie, I would just hope that they go back to New York and what made the series so good, the fashion, the men and the bond between the four women.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
