This was so-o-o bad! The movie, though full of action, was very incoherent and outlandish. The Russians were so ridiculous, I just started laughing out loud right in the middle of the movie. The plot was useless and dialog didn't make sense neither in English nor in Russian. Tom Cruise, who was supposed to be in the movie originally, probably is thanking his lucky start for dodging this dud.

Salt had me on the edge of my seat for most of the movie. If you are looking for an action movie with a plot - Salt will not disappoint. Angelina Jolie (even thought the role was meant for Tom Cruise) did an outstanding and convincing job as a true heroine. The shoot-em-up-punch-out scenes were fun to watch and exhilarating. By the time the movie was over, my heart was racing and the ending fit the movie perfectly. A great action flick that will have your heart pumping.

I'd give it 3 and half stars. its a good popcorn movie, very enjoyable but you're not thinking about it the next day. Clearly they're trying to set this up as the next Bourne franchise, I'm not sure it was completely successful that way.

You will have to suspend disbelief to enjoy this action film, but as such it will keep you guessing. Jolie does a good job to carry this off but overpowers the other actors. Even her love interest seems blah.

The plot made little, if any, sense and the "twists" were pretty predictable. Action sequences were totally unbelievable and thus lame - she managed to knock out about forty men twice her size - most of them armed. Riiiiight. Also boo to setting it in DC, but not really shooting much of it there.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
