There was lots of action in this movie. Lots of fighting, and plenty of guns. It went by faster than I thought it would. I didn't worry too much about the plot--it's not up for an Oscar, after all. Just watch it for the action--and the acting. I like Jolie in this role, but she needs a little more weight to look more athletic and make the fight scenes a bit more believable.

This thriller does not disappoint! Action sequences will have you holding your breath and sighing in relief (but never for long!). Invokes old fears of 'cold-war' induced 'sleeper' plots that should peak the paranoia level in all. Saw this with my 14 year old who is a spy-thriller fan. It was exciting to say the least as we tried to decipher early clues amidst the calmer scenes as well as the crazy fun action scenes. Personal lives of actors aside, the characters were portrayed with intelligence and compelling emotion. Suspend your judgement over conspiracies for a bit and go see this fun summer ride!

The action scenes were amazing. Great plot twists. i was never sure who was in what camp until the end. Fantastic editing.
i folded and unfolded and refolded my ticket stub until it was completely limp at the end of the movie while i watched, not wanted to miss anything.
The heroine's loyalties? Let's see, not sure if "they" killed her parents when it was time but very sure "they" killed her husband. A woman whom lived a life thinking she would be alone, and then there is a man who comes for her when she is sure she will be forgotten. Mmmm, i've seen girlfriends sell everything they own and move long distances to be with guys they have decided are *IT* at the drop of a hat. I'm okay with the logic that she wants revenge for them taking her husband.
i just don't care her outfits were magically matched. That happens for all operatives in action movies. Bravo to the wardrobe person.
i do wish AJ would work out more and actually *have* the muscles she needs to do the stuff she is supposed to be doing.

She is a joy to watch and the action shots are the best I have ever seen! She jumps from speeding truck roof to speeding bus roof, she leaps off buildings and down elevator shafts. She never has a moment's hesitation and knows just which hat to swipe and later where to get a coat to match.
But never do I understand why. Why is she so loyal, why does she care so much. And, in the end, why does she want to live when she has lost everything? To keep on fighting for this country? Why?

Would definitley recommend this movie to both my male and female friends. This is a great date night movie. Jolie is amazing in this and it was really just a 'whole lot of fun'! I saw SALT yesterday. It sucked. Come on guys, the story is just a copy of the Bourne series. and Angie looked so old with all the wrinkles, no way near the hot Lara Croft.

When one goes to see a movie like Salt, one is not looking for an award-winning titlte. It's entertaining, action-packed, and that's it.

Although many scenes seem far fetched and unrealistic, Salt is a non-stop action film with several plot twist and tradtional action genre devices. It's been compared to the Bourne Identity, but I believe this film belongs in a new category of it's own. Both Schreiber and Jolie are perfect in their roles and the directing is amazing!
