All you need to do is watch the preview or the trailer and you would see all the funny lines in the movie. The crude language constantly became offensive. That family could not say a sentence without the F word. An hour and a half of cursing was just a little too crude and served no purpose. James Masden high on acid was a great performance...but the rest was not worth seeing. Would not recommend to anyone.

What an atrocity! This movie was a waste of time and money. Aside from James Marsden high on acid and Danny Glover as a crotchity old guy, the laughs were limited. I couldn't focus on it and started drifting off into my own thoughts. Until Hollywood stops remaking movies that already have an originial, they're never going to learn. I think I need to see Iron Man 2 again to get the bad taste out.

I was expected the movie to be a bit more hillarious given the characters in the movie. But it was a bit slow starting and then very late in the movie, it started becoming more funny. There were several instances in the movie that were extremely funny and will catch you off guard. Even with all the comedy, there was still some pretty good acting. Overall, this was hilarious from start to end and missing the normal mushy climax that many comedies have. I appreciated that and the light hearted tone that continued throughout the entire movie.

Took my mother and sister with me to see this movie. We laughed out loud through so much of the movie it was lucky we saw the whole thing. We all truly enjoyed the humor and the interactions between the charaters. The small person that played Frank is so good and good looking. Great movie for all.

After seeing the 2007 English version (which was hilarious), I was anxious to see the remake. James Marsden was great and I would recommend that everyone see this movie if only for Marsden. The character that Chris Rock played was too serious of a part for him and it was not a good fit. Tracy Morgan was hilarious. In spite of Chris Rock, I enjoyed the movie a lot.

I went with my girls to see this movie, its a great date movie and also a great girls nite out movie...i was however disappointed by Martins and Chris Rocks performance but I fell over laughing at Danny Glover and Zoe boyfriends character in the movie..their performances were priceless!!!! A must see!

This movie is funny all the way through and the only thing that I did not like was Luke Wilson and I like him but he was not funny in the movie at all and cop out was the funniest movie of the year for me!
