Of the three Twilight movies released, Eclipse was closest to the book. It was very accruate and stayed true to the original story. It was very well done and Indeed an excellent film. I would definatly go and see it again.

Great pacing. It made me feel like it was a 4-hour movie in a GOOD way. All the necessary scenes were there and nothing was drug out too long like in New Moon.
Great acting. The character interactions were so well done. These actors/actresses have come so far!

Okay all you "hopeless romantics" out there, (including myself), this is the movie for you! Vampire or werewolf, this is all about love and how this powerful energy can bring centuries old enemies to fight as one and forget their differences. Its true love when you would sacrifice your life for the one you love and to love without any conditions.
My only qualm- get married and become a vampire already, Bella. That part is stretching too long!

It did seem very fast paced, but all the key scenes were definitely there. There's one scene where Bella's wig is noticeably fake-looking. At the end, Bella was not at all upset that she just kissed Jacob and in the book is much more emotional about it. Also, she has a strange little speech to Edward at the end about not feeling like a normal person, which was definitely not in the book. Almost every shot was close-up, which was different for Twilight . Great romance and action!

I personally think this is the best movie so far from the series. It stuck very close to the book. It did have some scenes that were obviously not in the book, but it was still the closest adaptation I think. The fight scene was pretty good, and even though it doesn't happen exactly as the book portrays, my kids and I still liked it.

This movie was the best in the series and I appreciated that they stuck to the book. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that in the first movie they showed James being ripped apart and it appeared like he was real flesh and blood, but in this one it made them seem like broken rocks. Small difference but didn't take away from the affects of the movie.

Best movie of the Twilight Series so far, althought they still will never compare to the books. But I go in knowing that, so its cool. I just cant understand why they dont make the werewolves a little more realistic. That is really the only part that bothers me!

I went to this movie to appease my friend's nagging I should see it. I'd seen the first two leaving the theater feeling I'd wasted my money - Edward's insistent gloomy and depressive attitude, Bella's celebrated ignorance camouflaged as love. This codependent relationship embodied everything unhealthy as well as down right laughable at times.
However, Eclipse actually had a plausible storyline and kept you interested. It dwelt a little more on developing the characters and their histories which I found more interesting than the "bizarre love triangle" this whole series centers around. I would love to see Meyers write more expounding on the Cullen's individual stories before and after becoming vampires, leaving Romeo and Juliet to Shakespeare.

Yep, worth the wait. Got there to a packed crowd and found seats in the overflow theatre that had a number of empty seats. The story, direction, acting, staging are all the best. The special effects keep you on edge and are almost believable. Going to get the DVD when available for our collection. Can't wait for the next one now.

I may be an avid Twifan, but this movie is the perfect balance of romance, action, and overall chaos. With the war coming and the shaky alliance of the vampires and werewolves, you never really know what to expect! Amazing continuance of the Twilight Saga!

So as with all the previous Twilight movies the acting was mediocre, but the plot was amazing. And they did a great job putting as much stuff from the book into the movie. The fight scenes were incredible. This is definitely more guy friendly than the previous movies. More romance yes but tons more fighting between werewolves and vampires, it was sweet!

The movie was awesome. The fight between the newborns and the wolves was amazing. Lots of emotion in this one and even though I'm team Edward, my heart hurts for Jacob. They did a good job of including most of the stuff in the book but, everything just happens SO fast in the movie. It's over before you know it!

This was an excellent movie, action packed, more back stories on the Cullen family (Jasper & Rosalie) which were very enjoyable, all the while not taking away from the developing relationships between Bella/Edward/Jacob. I would definitely go see this movie again and am so looking forward to the 1st part of Breaking Dawn to be released in November 2011!
