I personally think this is the best movie so far from the series. It stuck very close to the book. It did have some scenes that were obviously not in the book, but it was still the closest adaptation I think. The fight scene was pretty good, and even though it doesn't happen exactly as the book portrays, my kids and I still liked it.
I am not a fan of musicals! I was not at all excited about going to see this movie, but my kids were ecstatic about it. I would have to say that my family and I thoroughly enjoyed HSM 3! It was cute, had comedy, and the songs were actually kind of catchy! It did have some cheesy moments, but with a musical I was expecting that. We left the theatre and the kids were already talking about wanting to see it again and can't wait for us to buy it. If you are looking for a good family movie, this one's it.
My husband and I took our 4 children and our niece (ages range from 2-10) to see Wall-E and they were not only captivated by the graphics, the story line was awesome as well. It's a movie that will make you think. My kids were asking me after they saw it if something like that could actually ever happen in the real world. They talked about it all the way home and surprisingly remembered a lot about the movie. There is not very much dialouge, but that in no way makes the movie boring for adults or children. I would recommend Wall-E. I'll definately buy it when it comes out on DVD also!
