I went to this movie to appease my friend's nagging I should see it. I'd seen the first two leaving the theater feeling I'd wasted my money - Edward's insistent gloomy and depressive attitude, Bella's celebrated ignorance camouflaged as love. This codependent relationship embodied everything unhealthy as well as down right laughable at times. However, Eclipse actually had a plausible storyline and kept you interested. It dwelt a little more on developing the characters and their histories which I found more interesting than the "bizarre love triangle" this whole series centers around. I would love to see Meyers write more expounding on the Cullen's individual stories before and after becoming vampires, leaving Romeo and Juliet to Shakespeare.
