The Twilight Saga movies just keep getting better and better. The actors and the scenes were very real and stayed true to the wonderful books that I stayed up reading past 1:00 am many nights. This was the best Twilight movie so far. Can't wait until the next one comes out. Even went to the midnight showing of this one, and glad I did! (Believe me I am old enough to know better.) I really enjoyed the romance, and remarks between Edward and Jacob, and all the special effects.

I can't say that I really enjoyed this one even half as much as I loved New Moon. Was pretty bored throughout the movie. I wish they had kept the last director. New Moon was so much better, but my least favorite out of the Twilight Series book.

Eclipse was the best movie I have seen in a long time. Jacob of course i luv to death but Edward really made me like him in this movie and he was hott i luv how he looks at Bella with so much luv and Jacob is so in love with him and so oooo i cant even explain but wonderful plot and the best acting I LOVED THIS MOVIE and I'm going to see it again with my husband cause he was so upset I went without him but I had to tell him it's bigger than him. I pray they make the 4th one

I went on opening night and apart from not being able to find a seat and all the teens squealing at Edward and Jacob, I think this movie was the best so far. This movie turned a 500+ page book into a 2 hour movie that Twilight fans could enjoy. IN my opinion this movie was the best done so far as well as the one that has followed the book the closest. There are a few situations that are NOT suitable for younger children, however all in all... I will be seeing it a 2nd time.

the series has come a longs ways in its 3rd installment of the Twilight Saga and Eclipse by far has eclipsed it's predecessors. The story lines is staggered and sometimes a bit much but the important elements are there and the fight scenes were definitely the best part of the movie. oh and the "Proposal" plus the hot tent scene with the Trio, Bella, Jacob and Edward.
I can't wait for the final 2 part installment of Breaking Dawn....

The movie is fast paced and interesting. I thought the makeup and new cat -like contacts detracted from the film. Rather than having the Cullens family look normal and hip as they did in twilight, this director tried to make the family look like the old time vampires-hair that looked more like wigs! Everyones hair color was changed a bit and not for the better. In the first part of the movie Edward didn't even look handsome but that changes thank heavens in the last half of the film...I wish they would have used the original director-she made Edward look more attractive. IJacob looked really good throughout the film. If appearance doesn't matter to you then you will like the film even more.

I thought that the eclipse movie was awesome and funny too. I liked it a lot more than twilight and new moon even though both of them were pretty good. I loved every moment of the movie and I can't think of anything that I disliked. I thought the actors and director and everyone else iinvolved, did an awesome job at this movie.

The movie was great, staying pretty true to the book. Entertaining from beginning to end. Both Rob and Kristen's acting has vastly improved plus their interaction is no longer as awkard as the first two installments. You can really feel the evolution of their relationship. I'll be watching it a few more times before I can buy it and watch it over and over. Now, for Summit; NOVEMBER 2011??!!! Really? Won't you reconsider? I don't think I can wait that long but I guess we're gonna have to "for now".

I waited a long time for this movie to come out and it was well worth the wait. The only problem was if you read the books like me you wanted more. I think they should have left out the Jasper and Roslie history and used that time to get into the newborn vampires. But over all it was a great movie and I will be going to see it again.

I have always found it difficult to love a movie based on a book you love. This movie for me was a terrific movie that represents the book but is also great and able to stand on it's own. The plot and flow of the movie were perfect, the characters and their chemistry were wonderful. Also it does not hurt to have a little eye candy and plenty of action. I would have loved this movie even if I had not previously read the book. It's about time hey get a movie based on a book right. It's a must watch for the summer flick.

I believe this movie sets us up once again for the remaining book of the Twilight saga. This movie is one of the best and the more that is made from the books the more popular Twilight is. It is one love triangle that has everyone's heart feeling for Bella as she is torn between her best friend and her new found fiance. Spectacular MOVIE. Two thumbs up and five stars I say.

I've seen Eclipse twice so far. I love the movie but my favorite is still the first movie. I can't wait for Breaking Dawn. The first and the last books in the series were my favorite. What I did like in Eclipse was you got to know more of each of the Cullens. Jasper & Edward were hotties. They could have gone more into Rosalie's story and how she found Emmett. I do think Emmett got left out a bit in the story line. I was disappointed when it ended because I didn't want it to stop, I wanted another hour.

Eclipse re-established my faith in the Twilight movies. I agree with a previous reviewer that it is hard to fit the details of a 600 page book into a 2 hour movie, but the writers did an excellent job. The movie had good flow. I also felt that all of the actors stepped up their game for this movie. After New Moon, it was very necessary! I'm really looking forward to Breaking Dawn and I wish they would allow Catherine Hardiwicke to direct it. After all, she deserves a lot of credit for making the series such a success in the first place.

I'm totally one of those people who read all the books before they were "popular" and got so irritated with the phenomenon it became ... and yet I've loved the moves from the start.
Each installment in the saga is true to the 'spirit' of the book. But, having read the books and loved them completely first, I was always disappointed with something so crucial missing from the movie.
This one is perfect. Not only is the spirit of the book intact, but it's amazing seeing scenes once living in your imagination actually come to life -perfectly- as they did in the book. And the movie itself is intense. It's everything you loved about the book, with the visual and audio appeal that make watching it a true experience.
Yup, the best one yet ... it even convinced my husband that he could handle going ahead and continuing watching the saga (he's even bigger on the book thing than me).

Edward was Hott as ever. I don't really care for jacob's acting. But like one said in the review below, action and scenes was just like the book. What was up with the vultri coming and then the next scene nothing? It kinda of left it hanging in a way like it wasn't major?

I actually left the theater feeling satisfied. The first movie was good but there were too many scenes that left me bored. New Moon was even worse. Now, Eclipse reminds me why I like the books in the first place. I really got into the movie and I didn't want it to end.

Not easy to turn a 600 page novel into a 2 hour movie the casual viewer could enjoy as much as twihard fan. But they did it! Improved action, acting, script and makeup make this the best movie of the series. I can only hope the same group works on movie for the best of 4 books, Breaking Dawn. Is so, we are in for a treat!

This was by far the best movie out of the three! The action was awesome! The director did a fantastic job. I was not disappointed at all. I can't wait until this one comes out on DVD, but in the mean time, I will definitely be back to see it again!
