I'm totally one of those people who read all the books before they were "popular" and got so irritated with the phenomenon it became ... and yet I've loved the moves from the start.
Each installment in the saga is true to the 'spirit' of the book. But, having read the books and loved them completely first, I was always disappointed with something so crucial missing from the movie.
This one is perfect. Not only is the spirit of the book intact, but it's amazing seeing scenes once living in your imagination actually come to life -perfectly- as they did in the book. And the movie itself is intense. It's everything you loved about the book, with the visual and audio appeal that make watching it a true experience.
Yup, the best one yet ... it even convinced my husband that he could handle going ahead and continuing watching the saga (he's even bigger on the book thing than me).
Yes, I recommend this movie.
