The Eclipse movie left us on the edge of our seats the entire time. Every moment was fascinating! There was so much passion and truth to everything the cast said and did. Go watch this movie, you won't be dissappointed!

They did an amazing job this time. I only wish they would have put this much effort into Twilight. The proposal was done so well. It was exactly like the book. I hope that they stick this close to the book when they make Breaking Dawn.

as a die-hard twilight saga book fan, i was very impressed with this movie. i felt that it was pretty true to the book, which is usually not the case (see new moon). definitely the best one yet. can't wait to see breaking dawn part I & II.

In my opinion, this is the best movie of the series so far. Can't wait to see Breaking Dawn!(my fav book of the series). The dialog of Eclipse is better than the first two movies. I think the actors' chemistry together is increasing with each movie. I agree with another reviewer that the fight scene was super short, but what do you expect, there is a lot of story to tell in only 2 hours. The movie could be a lot longer and all of us fans would be happy. Can't get enough Twilight! Enjoy the movie

I did enjoy this movie. Took my daughter 13 and two friends. They loved it! I do believe that the makeout scene in the bedroom was a bit much for 13 year olds. I wonder how at all possible that they will do the next movie as a PG. I loved the banter between Jacob and Edward it gave some much needed humor, I do wish Charlie were in it more he is a riot!

I'm not a huge fan of vampire stories and haven't read the books but this was fun. As the actors have grown up, they've improved somewhat and the story was good. It left you wanting to see the next chapter sooner rather than later.

I just had to see the third movie in the series for no other reason to see how they adapted the books to the big screen. After seeing twilight a few months back, I started reading all the books and got caught up in the hype. The movies have been a fair adaptation of the books. I do enjoy the actors roles in the series. Throughly enjoyable adventure. Looking forward to the rest!

After all the hype, I was so underwhelmed by the movie I could cry. Maybe I just need to see it again, walk into the theatre with no expectations. I thought Kristen and Rob did a better acting job this time around but it was still so lackluster it's hard to get excited about it.
The ONLY part that I thought was consistently great was Jacob. I think Taylor Lautner hit it every scene he had....except the Tent scene which wasn't his fault because the script was so poor. I reread the book just yesterday before going to the movies and their tent scene was just flat to me. It didn't have as much intensity as it should have.
I will go back to see it again. I hope we don't have to wait 6 months for the DVD to come out.

I saw a huge improvement in the acting in this movie. Loved the "war" scene; just wish there had been more of it. I really liked the humor that was added in this movie; it helped the movie for the areas it lacked. Bella is the same; don't expect much from her character. But Edward and Jacob's character showed much improvement. You have moments there where you can feel what they are going through.
I wasn't a Twilight Fan from the beginning; in fact saw the first movie this year in February. Second movie in March and then saw this one last night. Although it gets a lot of negative attention too; I am fascinated with it. I like the love story behind it although it gets cheesy at some points. Some of the scenes people raved about; I didn't care for. I liked the special effects in this one much more than the others. It's one of those movies which you either hate them or love them.
Overall, if you are a Twilight Fan, you will like this one too. If you are not but love movies, you might like it for what it's worth; definitely the best of the three. I'm also glad I saw it on the big screen; it's great for the special effects.
I would definitely recommend seeing it at some point and I will be adding it to my DVD collection when it comes out. I am looking forward to Breaking Dawn as the movies seem to get better as they progress.

Nothing new to see here. Fans of the series will be inexplicably unable to avoid seeing it, and everyone else will scratch their heads trying to puzzle out its appeal. It has redeeming moments, but falls short of emotional investment, moving characters, and even compelling action. The action sequences were watchable, but below the par, and certainly not good enough to carry the rest of the movie. Comic relief was solid, but duly spread throughout the script, such that it doesn't ever manage to pull the experience out of its rut.

This was perhaps the most entertaining Twilight thus far. I think it would be exciting even for people who haven't see the first two. The whole thing was exciting and there were multiple funny parts. It stayed true to the book for the most part. I think some scenes were a little inaccurate in order to cram all of the book story-line into two hours of movie. I loved it! Can't wait for Breaking Dawn!

Great Movie. I see that Bella and Jake are coming of age and maturing. Bella is sure she wants Edward but I think she's confused about what the difference is between loving someone and being in love as she is with Jacob and Edward. Am dying until I see the wedding night and all the passion that's been building...Cannot wait!

I loved Eclipse. With each installment of the saga, it just keeps getting better. However, if you have not read the books, you cannot fully appreciate these movies. The acting may sometimes not be great, but to continue with anybody other than Kristen, Rob, and Taylor would ruin the upcoming Breaking Dawn segments (as an earlier reviewer suggested).

I think that this was the best out of the three. It followed pretty much with the book. I went with a friend who didn't read any of the books or watched the other two movies and she was able to follow what was going on and could tell that there were parts that referred to the other two books. I agree with everyone else about the fight scene. That was the big main event in the book and I thought they could've showed more of it in the movie. Overall it was a great movie. I would go see it again!
