ive always loved this saga, but i was honestly blown away by this movie. it instilled so many emotions inside of me and i really believed their love. i believed every story that was told and i found myself actually vested in the action parts. its totally worth it; best of all 3.

I'm a fan of the books, and although this movie took some weird tangents from it, I still thought it was a great movie. Its certainly a good stand alone movie even if it wasn't proceeded by 2 mediocre movies, and despite it not being like the book.

This is the best written and filmed of the three Saga films. The narrative more closely follows the novel than the other two, even if the order of some conversations is mixed around some. The CGI and fight scenes are VERY GOOD. What this film misses is the emotion you get from the pacing of the novel. In order to get this huge story on film non-action and non-plot driven sequences needed to be left out. I believe that really destroyed the mood that the novel evokes. I got the emotion from New Moon that the book created, I don't get it here so much.
What is up with Felix from the Volturri being so unable to control his emotions? Dakotah Fanning played Jane's boredom perfectly but Felix was so angry and emotionally involved. He blew that entire Volturri scene for me.

I didnt read the books and wasnt really going to see any of the Twilight movies but one day while flipping channels I saw where Twilight was about to begin so I decided to watch it and see what the big rave was. I wasnt too thrilled with the first one and almost changed channels a few times. By the time it ended I was curious enough to see what the second one was about. Now I saw the third one...very much the best of the three.

I was excited to see all of the Twilight movies. It was great just to see the stories I loved so much brought to life, but let's face it--the first 2 were good, but not great. Now I waited in line, watched them greedily, then bought the DVDs, but that's bc I am a huge Twilight fan. I thought the first two wouldn't be considered great movies by non-twihards. This movie, however, is different. The action, the script, the visual effects were on a whole different level. Even the acting was MUCH improved. I have dragged my husband to all of them. This is his definite favorite. While I would probably go to the theater to watch anything Twilight and come out squeeling saying, "That was so awesome!", I think even Twilight virgins will love this movie :)

I can not believe that this movie was so good! I was expecting a fluff piece but this gets down and dirty. The fight sequences are amazing. Even my 20 year old son liked it.

I think that this was the best movie out of the three. It was very funny and entertaining and I would definitely recommend it to friends/family. We saw the movie at the Imax and it was Great! I cannot wait for Breaking Dawn 11/11. I also read Bree's story and after reading it wished that perhaps she could have been added to the Cullen Clan.

wow.. Eclipse is definately the best so far! i can't believe how HOT jacob is and how CUTE Edward is too. I LOVE them! Ever drag your boyfriend or significant other to Twilight, New Moon, or another movie that is mostly geared toward girls? Well in Eclipse the guys will definately enjoy the epic battle between the Cullens & wolf pack against Victoria & her new born vampire army. The stunts were fantastic and acting was very believable The movie followed very closey to the book so twihards will be happy and whether your Team Edward or Team Jacob, there are plenty of scenes to stare at them. :D I must say though that in the begining of the movie, the scenes & story line were choppy. One min your in Seattle & the next your in Florida. If you haven't read the books you will feel confused. Like the critics said though it is definately the best movie out of the 3 so far. So I highly recomend this movie and I hope you enjoy. :)

I think David Slade did a very good job of incorporating the book's intent. A lot of the book was left out but he conveyed the plot very well. I definitely think this is the best of the three so far. I will see this movie again!

Romance abounds in this third installment of the Twilight Saga, complete with plenty of long scenes in the meadow at its blooming peak. The character development runs deep as we learn a lot more about Jasper and Rosalie, while the love triangle of Bella and her beastie boys grows ever tense and passionate. At the end, things seem to be perfectly wrapped up, which departs from the book where readers are left with a brooding Jacob as he receives his wedding invitation. That was a miss by Director David Slade to leave us hanging on tight for the next one.

It was clear after 5 minutes that if you didn't read the book you are missing everything.
Especially why Bella loves a dead guy.
I can see Edwards charm but why would a live girl want a dead blood sucker?
I like how her lust for Jake was handled and everything to do with the Werewolves made me happy but I also see why she doesn't go for him.
Still, I can't understand why any live person would want to be turned into an undead vampire and I don't really want to understand.
Time to pick up the books or stop going to these movies.

It was absolutly a great movie. They made alot of anticipation for the main fight scene...... but the scene it self didnt last very long. Its def more intense between jacob and edward in this movie compared to the other two. I still think new moon was better. Looking forward to breaking dawn !

The third installment of this series was the best so far. It followed the book dead on. There was much more Edward to see in this one which was NICE! Great special effects and lots of action. Very cool sprinkles of humor throughout as well. Well done! Cannot wait for the next one!

I like the movie alot. The only thing I didn't like was how the movie was changes a little bit, Bella went after Jake when Edward was supposed to, Edward watched Bella get on the bike with Jake, Bella saw Jake get hurt. I read the movie guide and it said the screenwriter changed it up a bit to build on the excitement. I like the books better just becauses of the details they changed but I understand why now.

As so many people have said, this movie IS the best of the 3 so far. Only thing I don't like is having to wait so long for Part 1 of Breaking Dawn....what am I supposed to do until November 2011?
