This is the best written and filmed of the three Saga films. The narrative more closely follows the novel than the other two, even if the order of some conversations is mixed around some. The CGI and fight scenes are VERY GOOD. What this film misses is the emotion you get from the pacing of the novel. In order to get this huge story on film non-action and non-plot driven sequences needed to be left out. I believe that really destroyed the mood that the novel evokes. I got the emotion from New Moon that the book created, I don't get it here so much.
What is up with Felix from the Volturri being so unable to control his emotions? Dakotah Fanning played Jane's boredom perfectly but Felix was so angry and emotionally involved. He blew that entire Volturri scene for me.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
