This movie was incredible!! It was hands down the best Twilight saga film yet. The acting was great, the directing was great, the way they interpreted the book into the movie was perfect! I HIGHLY recommend this movie! My husband and I cannot wait to go see it again!

Eclipse was action packed and left me wanting more.
I took seven kids ranging in ages 10-15 years old to see this movie. Six of the kids would have given five star ratings and one kid would have given a two star rating (she is not into this saga, nor the story line),
I give it four stars. It is worth seeing but, not the best movie ever.

twas indeed so far the best sequel for Twilight Saga!!! its n this movie once again Bella prove to Edward how much she luv him and is willing to do everything even if it means putting herself n danger and i luv the way Edward and Jacob tried to get along for one ultimate goal and dat to protect Bella d love of der life!!! dat s so sweet and both of them showed Bella how they love her and one is willing to let her go for her happiness dats pure love!!!. wish all dat kind of love exist not just n the movie damn it!!! This movie was great!!! I can't wait until it comes out on DVD, hope that that will be soon!!!!! Edward looked even hotter in this movie Haha!! Would definitely recommend it to any and everyone!!! Action was great!!! Great romantic scenes too!!! LOL. I know not to expect everything that's in the books to be in the movie, because no movie has ever been quite like the book!!! I can't wait for breaking dawn, but it will be bitter sweet seeing as it is the last one.

The battle between fire (Jacob) and ice (the Vampires-Edward) continues. Of course a great movie/story but lot more smooch-smooch going on in this movie and Bella being sexually agressive towards Edward which surprised me. Bella admits her love for Jacob as well as Edward in this movie but PICK ONE already. That part I felt dragged on but of course I'll be back for the next one. Go Team Jacob!

Yeah- the title says it all. it's a really good addition to the twilight movies. i only have a two things that were sort of just okay about. one was the speed of the movie. it kinda felt like everything was playing on a slow fast forward button. for example: people were talking a wee bit too fast, the scenes were a little jumpy and erratic. number two: i thought they had left out only a few good quotes that would have made the movie even more excellent. like Jacob saying "i can handle the clouds but i can't handle an eclipse", or the "go fetch a space-heater..." these quotes would have just made the movie better. But it was either the best or one of the best twilight movies so far. i would totally reccommend it. (btw: the really AWESOME things in the movie: jasper and rosalie's back stories, the fight scene, the hot romance between edward and bella.... i could go on forever :))

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this movie. It was, by far, the best of the three released so far. One of the chief complaints I've seen from other reviewers is that id was not as true to the book as they would have hoped. I thought this was quite a good thing as the book was, frankly, full of misogyny and vanity that the movie lacked. Movie-Bella seems to have a spine that Book-Bella lacks and it really shows in this movie.
In addition to the improvement of the quality of the characters, the action sequences are just phenomenal. When the vampires and the wolves fight the newborns at the end, there is a lot more detail than I originally thought there would be. Since Bella was not actually present at the fight in the book, I was worried that we would get snatches and glimpses from Edward's mind but instead we were actually in the thick of battle.
Would I go to see this movie again? Definitely.

Movies was awesome, definitely best of the 3. I agree w/ those of you who say the movie was rushed. I did feel like I needed to see it again ( which I did ) in order to retain everything. Loved the proposal scene, the tent scene and definitely the fight scene, they did not disappoint!!

As my title suggests, I wasn't even planning on seeing this movie in the theater. I went only because a friend wanted to see it VERY badly, and being a single mom she rarely gets out of the house. So, what guy wouldn't wanna make a girl happy? =)
With that said, I must admit that I liked the movie. I thought the acting was FAR better than the previous two. It didn't seem like I was watching an after school special or a high school play, where the acting is....well, crap. =) Kristen Stewart actually seemed like she may have taken an acting lesson or two, as well as Taylor Lautner.
I thought the numerous close-ups of the actors were a little much, but nothing that made me have too much of a negative opinion.
I was told that this movie had a different director than the previous two, and I could tell it.
I wouldn't consider myself a "fan" of the Twilight series. I read the books, just to see what the big deal was about and thought they were well written and the story was intriguing.

In this one, Bella keeps her eyes open! That's an improvement over the last one. There's a little more action (also a good move). It's not nearly outrageous as True Blood, but it's aimed for a much younger audience. I'd recommend it for tweens. I am aware of the cult like status this story has for many in that age group ( though my 55 year old wife has read all the books and awaited the movie eagerly; same goes for my 25 year old daughter).

I am not exactly a big twilight fan and not exactly enthusiastic about sparkling vampires, but I think the movie was very well done, entertaining, had good humor, and a fair amount of class as well. Not something I really expected from the series, but in consideration of everything else, it's nice to see once in a while. I wasn't bored or anything like that and enjoyed it. Watch it and you will not be too disappointed, you'll be glad you see it, minus the sparkling vampire bit, which has been kept to a minimal.

Eclipse is my favorite book out of the four. I was excited to see the movie an was dissapointed. The fighting part of the movie is pretty cool and Edward is still hot. But Kristin stewart still can't act, she should be fired from playig Bella. Taylor trys to act like a bad ass but fails at it. The movie is very choppie. One part Bella is in her bed with Edward and its night time, then two mins later she is in the sunlight with Jacob. Stick to the books everyone because I have a feeling that Breaking Dawn is going to bomb as well. P.S. Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene were the best!

I have not read the books and every one that has read the books says that the movie is different from the books by quite a bit but since I don't know what the books are like, I thought the movie was really good. Have watched it yesterday. Was waiting for a this part really impatiently. I hoped that they would stick closer ti the book. Kristen and Rob, of course, did everything possible if speaking about romantic scenes, but i did not got the same thrills and goosebumps when i was watching 1-2 movies of Twilight saga. The movie was all I anticipated it would be. I loved the humor as well as the outtakes of Jasper and Rose's lifes. I wish they could do them all. Wouldn't that be a great movie to do all the vamps. This movie is well worth seeing more than once as I know there are things I missed. I too like most can't wait for Breaking Dawn - don't know how it is going to be PG13 and to see how they do Renesmee will be interesting.
