War Horse:Good not Great

I did not know what this movie was going to be about. My husband really wanted to see this movie and I went in completely blind. The main actor, in the beginning, looked like a young Patrick Swayze. In true Steven Spielberg form, overall the movie was good but LONG. I thought the ending was odd, it just got quiet and ended.
There were several parts in the movie that is not for the squeamish.
I've already recommended it to my parents.

If you're in to Politics, you'll love this movie!

An inside look at how politics works and the wheeling and dealing that goes on behind the scenes.
While it's just a movie, I can totally see this kind of thing happening.
Makes me not want to ever be in politics. Ever! And makes them all look like a bunch of greedy slime balls.

Great Action!

This movie is a lot more than two brothers in the ring. There's a good story line behind it. The ring scenes aren't too graphic so the whole family could enjoy and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Great movie- Should win an award!!

I would wait for the DVD release

It wasn't bad overall. Not based upon a true story & if they would've used real facts, would've been much better. Good drama, good suspense but didn't like the ending. Kinda predictable.

The Help was Excellent

This was an excellent movie for the entire family. After the movie, in my family it sparked a lot of conversation about civil rights, how it was and how it is now. This movie needs to nominated for Best Movie of the Year.

Good Overall bad ending

The acting was good, the story line was good. The ending was expected and blah. Did they run out of money for the ending or what?
With all of the previews it was 2 hours 45 minutes so get comfortable because it's long.

Excellent graphics-life like characters

This movie is excellent for people of all ages. Characters are life like; no detail left unattended to. Awesome movie. There are numerous books in this series; hopefully there will be another movie also.

3 Levels

This is a great movie but, no going potty, or talking during this movie or you'll miss something and be lost the rest of the time.
Inception is about dreams and going 3 levels into a dream. It gets a bit confusing at time because depending upon what level you're in there's a time difference. If you're in Level 1 it's 5 minutes real time; Level 2 20 minutes and Level 3 45 minutes. With a story within each level, that's where the confusion can come in.
Still, a great movie. But, I'll watch it again because I'm sure I missed things the first time around.

Fire & Ice

The battle between fire (Jacob) and ice (the Vampires-Edward) continues. Of course a great movie/story but lot more smooch-smooch going on in this movie and Bella being sexually agressive towards Edward which surprised me. Bella admits her love for Jacob as well as Edward in this movie but PICK ONE already. That part I felt dragged on but of course I'll be back for the next one. Go Team Jacob!

Disappointment

Total let down. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief was much better and VERY similar story line. Fighting seems were lame, and the ending was not up to par. All around disappointment. Recommendation: Skip this one and see Percy Jackson.
