I did not like the direction of this movie. Too much of the same thing ( I love you and can't live without you) I understand that its part of the story, I read all the books, but I feel that there was so much more action that could have been incorporated into this film. It moved entirely too slow. The characters make-up was different....... - too light maybe. The only character that I thought was consistent was Ashley Greene's. The movie left a lot to be desired.

if you are looking for the battle, it's much less than what you think. The end is sort of bleh.. but the movie tells the backstory of so many different characters (except Dr & Mrs Cullen & Alice).. but you learn a lot about the other characters. The makeup and scenery are great. photography on this one.. just that it's so much about human vs vampire.. though the father/daughter scenes actually have dialogue and there is some depth there. ..

I never read the book, but i heard this was suppose to be the best one. The plot wasn't that good, there was a lot of unnecessary scenes, a little stupid. It was okay but i was expecting something a little more entertaining.

This movie was great. It was action, romance and drama wrapped up into one. I would definitely recommend this movie to my friends and others. It was so much passion between Edward and Bella but I could also feel the love and animal magnetism between Bella and Jacob. This movie gets 2 thumbs up.

Overall this movie was enjoyable: good directing, great acting, interesting story. However, I was frustrated with the fact that vampires, who are technically not alive, can be killed using physical force (twisting their necks, decapitating them, etc). Although the vampires looked like they were made of glass AFTER they were killed (creative) this goes against the fact that they aren't really physical bodies. And, I thought a vampire had to be killed with a stake to the heart or a silver bullet. And, the ending was so obviously marketing motivated (enticing us to see the sequel) that it made me angry. This movie's story-line was NO WHERE NEAR WRAPPED UP at the end. Of course, I will see the sequel, if for no other reason than to stare at Robert Pattinson, admiring his acting skills, and at Taylor Launter's physique.

The movie Eclipse does capture the special love that Edward and Jacob feel for Bella as described in the book. Some adults might find it cheesy how Edward shows his jealousy for Jacob's feelings for Bella. Personally while watching the movie I was attracted more to the creation of the vampire army scenes than to the romantic scenes. I only wished there had been more of those. I totally recommend it to those who are "Twilight book fans" because as readers we do understand the emotions among the three main characters. Otherwise, it is not easy to understand such unique love between this new genre of vampire and a human girl.

I loved the movie Eclipse!! The movie followed the book so precisely , the romance between Bella ( Kristen Stewart), and Edward was so sweet and loving. The movie is about Bella, Edward and Jacob living in Fork. In Seattle a evil vampire named Victoria is creating an army of newborn vampires to hunt down and kill Bella. The newborn vampires come to Forks and there is a awesome battle between the evil vampires and the Cullen's family and the good werewolf's. My favorite scene is when Bella is trying to seduce Edward and he ends up proposing to her. Go see this movie its romantic and action packed!!! Taylor Lautner with his shirt off is too hot!! Team Jacob!

I absolutely loved it! I heard a lot of "stuff" about it before I went to see it, but I decided to just wait & see for myself. I was truly amazed & awed! I wanted to turn around and go right back in & watch it all over again! I will - again & again, etc.... It followed the book almost perfectly and that is rare! There were some minor differences, but certainly not enough to take anything away from the story. Well done David Slade! My hat's off to you & all of the fine producers! And to the cast: Excellent, Beautiful, Awesome, Inspiring, & well, you get the picture!? Picture? A work of art! Love you guys! Truly the best one yet. It's going to be murderous waiting for the rest!!!!!

Of course everything from the book couldn't be included but it stuck very close to the story. The fight scenes were excellent; the wolves were beautiful. The tension btw Edward & Jacob was intense. No lulls; loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Each movie gets better and better just like the books. This is the only book/movie saga that I have ever enjoyed so much because it follows the books so well and really brings them to life. I cannot wait to see the next two movies. Absolutely amazing....amazing footage, special effects and the actors did not dissappoint either! Each movie gets better, the characters really come to life....it did not feel like 2 hours....left you wanting more and FAST!!!!
