Loved the movie. They covered a lot of ground from the books. Some things were not explained, but overall the movie was wonderful. The wolves looked much better than they did in new moon. I loved the moments of humor/sarcasm between Edward and Jacob. Really enjoyed the movie and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I thought Eclipse was great! I like the character development in this part of the story. However, there was a little too much kissing and romance for my husband and son's taste but overall they liked the movie too.

It probably didn't help that I actually read this book prior to seeing the movie because it ruined all the surprises for me. For the first two movies, I didn't read the books and was surprised when I saw them in the theater. Not saying it was a bad movie, even though I already knew what was going to happen I still loved it.

I enjoyed this one alot, I liked the others as well, Twilight, the acting could have been better, New Moon was pretty good, But Eclipse is by far the best yet.... for now!! I am looking forward to Breaking Dawn, as far as the books go that one has to be my favorite, everything falls into place in Breaking Dawn!

This is by far the best movie of the series yet! I am a huge fan of the books, and by association, I am a fan of the movies. This movie gave you everything you wanted to see from the book. The actors played their parts much better, including Kristen Stewart, who surprised me. She was finally Bella! I brought a friend with me who is not a fan of the books, and she loved it as well, also saying it was the best one yet!! My husband loved it too!!! Overall, great job!!!!

Well I actually liked New Moon better than this one, but I loved this one! I did like the two groups coming together to save the town. But I hope they still tell tell the stories of the history of both sides in the next two. All of the actors are wonderful. I am an older woman and I love all the characters.

Eclipse was definitely the best of the three staying truer to the book. -- They really ought to remake Twighlight all together .
Loved the handling of the back stories of Jasper and Rosalie and that we got to see the cross-border scuffle between Emmet and Paul. Surprised that the connection between the Volturi and Victoria's plan -- which is only revealed in The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner -- was in the movie.
I was also disappointed by the way Bree was handled in the movie. Her response to Bella's presence is one of the things that makes Bella worry about what she will be like as a newborn -- and makes it so amazing when she is actually able to resist hunting humans. Bree didn't even flinch in the movie, where, in the book, she is traumatized by her proximity to Bella and how badly she wants to kill her.

I really enjoyed Eclipse. I think it's the best one so far. It hit on all the important parts of the book without seeming choppy. If you're not a Twilight fan, you probably won't enjoy it as much...but I loved,loved,loved it!

I do think this movie changed the least. It wasn't exact, but I like the way they worked out the times when it didn't match. There are things they could've done better, but it would've made the movie 3 hours instead of 2. Overall good flick, will be seeing it again!

This installment of the Twilight films is really the best of the three! True to the book, lots of action, character history and tension keep you on the edge of your seat! It's not focused totally on the Bella/Edward tortured love story. Rob Pattinson's Edward has more depth in this story. All the main actors play their characters well. A must see for any Twilight fan -- and this one has enough action that your man may want to come along too!

I am a big fan of the Twilight Saga books. I found the first two movies hard to watch, but heard great reviews for the third. Unfortunately, it was a major let down.
As far as pertaining to the book, the movie fell short. As a far as standing alone as a good movie, it was poor to say the least. It lacked intensity of emotion, funny one liners, and pivotal scenes in Edward's and Bella's relationship. There were times when I was actually bored.
My one praise: Edward is no longer wearing a mask of halloween make-up. His character was slightly more animated, unlike the rest of his co-stars.
Eclipse is my favorite of the books so I suppose I had high hopes.

I'm no Twihard, but I married one. That being said, I have read the books and seen all of the movies to date. Eclipse was my favorite of the books, and the movie is easily the best of the group. Plainly put, there is more focus on action and the fleshing out of the side characters (like Jacob, Jasper, Rosalie, Vultari, etc.) as opposed to seeing Edward and Bella stare ate each other in angst for 2.5 hours. Fear not team Edward fans, there is still plenty of brooding done.
Overall, even non-fans would probably enjoy this one if for nothing more than the cool fight scenes and the nice humor/tension between Jacob and Edward.

This was the best twilight movie so far. Though not everything from the book was in the movie, the still got the most important scenes in and I wasn't disappointed. There would be no way to fit every detail of the book into a two hour movie, but for what David Slade got into it was great. The acting has gotten a lot better and the cgi was a little better in this movie. The action sequences were very well played and involved some decapitation which was cool. I took my boyfriend to it and he actually liked it, when he didn't care much for the other two. He commented that it was much more entertaining to him then the other sappy ones. I highly recommend Eclipse!
