Eclipse was definitely the best of the three staying truer to the book. -- They really ought to remake Twighlight all together .
Loved the handling of the back stories of Jasper and Rosalie and that we got to see the cross-border scuffle between Emmet and Paul. Surprised that the connection between the Volturi and Victoria's plan -- which is only revealed in The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner -- was in the movie.
I was also disappointed by the way Bree was handled in the movie. Her response to Bella's presence is one of the things that makes Bella worry about what she will be like as a newborn -- and makes it so amazing when she is actually able to resist hunting humans. Bree didn't even flinch in the movie, where, in the book, she is traumatized by her proximity to Bella and how badly she wants to kill her.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
