If you are a fan of the Twilight Saga, Eclipse does not disappoint. This movie captures the action and danger of the book and continues to draw out the turmoil of Bella's relationship with Jacob and ultimate choice to stay with Edward. Each movie seems to be better than the last. Looking forward to Breaking Dawn (parts one and two).

After Twilight, I couldn't wait to see New Moon. After New Moon I couldn't wait to see Eclipse. After seeing Eclipse, I will not be the first to buy tickets for Breaking Dawn or wait in line 4 hours for a good seat. Eclipse had too much humor and action thrown into the movie that it took away the intensity of the love and power stuggle. The humor and action was good, making it a movie worth watching, but I was more drawn to the triangle and how intense the love for Edward and Jacob was. The humorous arguements between the two, took away from the powerful effect of their feelings for Bella.

I'm not one of those crazy Twilight girls, but I took a bunch of them with me last night! We all loved the movie! The romance between Edward and Bella is a little smarmy for me, but overall, I enjoyed the movie! :)

If you are a fan of the books, then you will no doubt appreciate and enjoy this movie. It had a lot more action than the last two, although I still wouldn't subject my boyfriend to watching it with me. The scenes were too drawn out and made the movie seem like it was three hours long. If it wasn't for the fact that I am a huge fan of the books, I probably would have been annoyed with the long pauses each actor makes in their lines. For the most part I enjoyed it, but wouldn't recommend making your man/woman take you to see it. Take your other twi-hard friends.

Both "teams" will be happy. Edward and Jacob get equal billing and are equally enduring in Eclipse. Thought the movie could have dug a little deeper - a lot of material to cover.

The acting in this movie has really improved. Kristen Stewart looks beautiful and is coming into her role. I think she nails the character of Bella. Edward and Bella's relationship is expressed perfectly by the 2 respective actors and it really adds intensity to the movie. Taylor does an amazing job with Jacob, and the rivalry between Edward and Jacob is played out nicely. The only thing lacking in this movie was the suspense from the book.

Defenetly better than New Moon. Fans will not want to wait for Breaking Dawn. Alot of all the characters in this one. So if you are a Jacob fan or Edward fan you got to see them both. The plot really thickens in this movie with the love triangle between Bella, Edward and Jacob. I also liked that this one had a little humor in it. Excellent movie!

The acting has improved a bit from the previous two installments, but the dialogue is still choppy and transitions need improvement. A few minor irritants from the last two films carried over into Eclipse: Stewart's shaking of her head as she searches for words, Pattinson's painful expression, and that the Cullen's are the only vampires that act like statues with their weird stares. Yes, they are supposed to look statuesque, but not act like it. The other vampires in the film do not follow suit. But my biggest complaint is about the music. The soundtrack to Twilight was excellent. The instrumentals along with the pop music made that movie. I was disappointed with New Moon and even more so with Eclipse. Doesn't anyone see the value of a solid soundtrack anymore? So why do I see the movies? Curious, purely curious. I've read the books many times over and I simply wanted to see how the story would be translated onto screen. I continue to be disappointed.

The movie was totally worth the staying up past midnight! It exceeded all my expectations and had a lot more action than the first and second.
The love triangle seems to finally be answered, and left me wishing I had my own vampire and werewolf fighting for my love, but seeing both teams come together was awesome!
The newborn scenes were a little corny, but overall I found it to be very entertaining.
Really looking forward to seeing the last 2.

Five thumbs up for Eclipse. This is by far the best movie of the three, and Twilight fans should be pleased that the director stayed fairly true to the book. The banter between characters that was severly lacking in the first movie, got better in the second movie, but is so much improved in Eclipse. You finally get to delve into the primary characters' past lives which is so important if you haven't read the books. I'll definitely see this many more times while still in theatres.

Saw Eclipse at midnight with my daughter and 5 of her friends. It was excellent! I liked the vampire fight scenes, especially the fast speed. I was worried about the violence and I didn't need to be. The wolves were oversized and their interactions seemed human, which was a great effect. The movie emphasized the love triangle a lot and de-emphasized some parts that I would have liked to see (like when Jacob kisses Bella and she flashes to what their life would be together. The movie missed that opportunity). I did not like the "close ups." It seemed the movie was shot too close and I kept thinking "pan out, please." In my opinion, the actors were excellent and could never be replaced. We all had a wonderful night at the movies and can't wait to see Eclipse again!

I took my two teenage daughters to the film. They loved it to the point of saying it was the best film they ever saw. Except for about 15 min of good vampire/werewolf battles I was pretty boared. There could have been a lot more vampire stuff for us real vampire fans. I mean sparkly vampires?

This was the best yet of the series. It included the main themes of the book beautifully. The fight scene between the wolves & vamps vs Victoria's army was thrilling. The only two downsides to the movies was the wigs that Bella had to wear: awful looking! and I wish we could've had just a few more minutes of Jasper & Rosalie's backstories. Its a must see among Twilight Fans! I can't wait for Breaking Dawn!

I think this was the best movie out of the 3 so far. Kept me interested the whole time!! I haven't read the books but it is definitely on my to do list this summer! Great movie for all ages, even us who were tweens some time ago. My pre-teen and teenager want to see it again and VERY SOON!!!

In comparison to the first two movies in the saga, this was by far the best movie yet. The special effects and the utilization of the original story line were well blended unlike other movies that change the story to fit the creative vision. Absolutely loved the movie.

I feel that out of all three of the Twilight sagas so far, Eclipse is the best movie. The actors were incredible and portrayed even more of the beloved characters in the Twilight saga. The way that the action scenes were shown, with the wolves and the fighting were truly brought to life, just as I pictured these scenes playing out in my mind, as I read. I absolutely enjoyed the movie, and can't wait to see it again!

i can't decide if this was my favorite. they were missing a lot of my favorite parts from the book. however we did get to see jacob shirtless basically the whole time and that was a plus. i wish they would have elaborated more on the bella and jacob love story, and what she sees when they kiss. overall though i really liked it

Being a person that has read Eclipse twice, I was extremely pleased with how well they stuck to the facts! They strayed just a little bit but they pretty much got the nail on the head on this one! This is the best one in the saga by far, and I hope this is an example from the awesome things to come in Breaking Dawn's movies. I liked how they gave a little background into the newborns from Stephenie's novella about Bree Tanner! Well worth staying up until 3 in the morning and there weren't as many giggly girls this time which is always a plus!
