I only went to the Midnight showing as a BDAY gift for my daughter-- but I loved the adaptation- although- its so TRUE it difficult to put on screen all the important details necessary to truly enjoy the movie.
Disappointed in Bryce Dallas Howard's version of Victoria.. wish they could've kept the original cast in tact.. it takes away from the character effectiveness. Oh Well.... can't have it all!! Love the casting for the wolf Pack.

I think that Catherine Hardwicke, by far, did the best directing (of Twilight). All directors can manipulate technology for "special effects" via computer generated animation, and New Moon and Eclipse were awesome in that respect. However, Catherine Hardwicke brought Twilight "to life" on screen, with real skill and detail. I will wait for Breaking Dawn with excitement!

The movie was good, but I was disapointed that it wasn't closer to the books version. I also didn't like that they added stuff about Riley that wasn't in the book because he wasn't that important of a character. If i hadn't read the books then, I think I would have been really impressed.

Eclipse the book was one of my least favorite in the series, but a necessary part! The movie was a fantastic adaptation of the book and just what I envisioned while reading the book.
If you like Taylor Lautner without his shirt on this is the movie for you! If you are an Edward, Rob P, fan than he gives a great performance and his perfectly chiseled face will keep you smiling!!!! I have always loved Kristin Stewart as Bella and this is were I am different from most. I didn't like the original Twilight movie in the theaters but on DVD it has grown on me, but New Moon made me fall in love with the series again and this movie ECLIPSE made me excited for Breaking Dawn to come out and I can't wait!!!! There was too little time given to the backgrounds of Rosalie and Jasper, each could have added 5 minutes to their stories as they are important to the last movies and there could have been a little more build up to the major fight scene, but other than that the movie lived up to the book and brought it to a new level. I am a fan for life!!!!!

Eclipse was amazing! The scenes...the story.... I could not imagine how this series could get any better, but it did! Even if you are not an avid Twilight fan, I would recommend not missing this one :)

I went to my first ever midnight movie premiere, and Eclipse was it. I went in thinking, "Oh, this is gonna be all Edward, Bella, and Jacob." Having just finished reading the book a couple of days earlier, I wanted to see how much I could thrash it. To my surprise, though, it was a well-done movie. Rosalie and Jasper's backstories really helped things, and there was enough action to keep me satisfied. I'm not a Twi-Hard, but I did find this movie great to watch. Something tells me Breaking Dawn's gonna have some work to do to eclipse "Eclipse"!

I waited till 12am to watch it and it was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy worth it.!! The romance between Bella & Edward was real and fantastic!!!! The action scenes were fantastic but the wolves were a lil cheesy fake but it worked!!! I want to see if like 5 more times and can't wait for it to come out on DVD!!

The special effects...awesome! Taylor really played Jacob well! I am so glad he was not replaced! Excellent job with the rest of the characters including the background on each Cullen! Robert and Kristen performed better in their roles than previous and loved the werewolves!

As an avid reader, I of course like the books better. But I have to admit and give credit where credit is due. This is by far, my favorite movie of the three. I did think the first half of the movie was a little "choppy" moving quickly from one scene to another, but the second half moved fluidly and had more depth. I still don't like Edward's make up and think Kristen Stewart needs a few acting classes. She has improved her looks since Twilight-she doesn't look quite as homely. Taylor is a true "hotty"

I will always be a fan of the Twilight Saga BOOKS, and that is why I support the movies. The first one was disappointing when I saw it the first time, but given the low budget, hardly known actors, and BAD direction, I gave it a second chance and liked it. I knew that with more money and better direction, the series would get better, and in my opinion: it did.
I saw the midnight showing of Eclipse, and fortunately, did not have to wait in any lines. The actors are getting more settled into their characters. I was glad to see more of the Cullen family developed. Even though Victoria had a small part, I can't say that I really liked Bryce Dallas Howard over Rachelle Lefevre. Overall, I thought Eclipse was a little slow in some spots, but good and entertaining enough. I am now anticipating Breaking Dawn!

Out of the first three movies from the Twilight Saga, I would say that Eclipse is by far my favorite. Following the story of Bella, Edward, and Jacob, along with the rest of the cast, makes me feel like I actually know each of them. This movie had a great amount of action as well as the love triangle of Bella, Edward, and Jacob. Without a doubt, you are missing out if you choose to not see Twilight Eclipse.

Eclipse was definitely the best movie out of the three so far. The actors improved their acting by a lot and the special effects were amazing. The writers really stepped up their game and I was so impressed with how great it was. The writers followed the book story-line very closely and did not take anything away from the story. I would definitely recommend this film to others. I cannot wait for Breaking Dawn!

As a fan of the books, movies rarely match the content of what an author is trying to portray. This third movie of Twilight was fairly well done, of course they always leave the little in between scenes that come out on DVD - but I guess that is what gets us all to buy the DVD when it comes out (besides being a fan). I did enjoy the movie & the all the facial expressions were done well. The flashback scenes about the different stories were great.

Being that I read the books I thought this one was more book accurate. It didn't leave much to wonder about and had funny moments in it as well as heartwarming moments. I left the theater smiling and happy at what they chose to show. I can only hope that the last two are going to be just as amazing.
