As good as the book

Eclipse the book was one of my least favorite in the series, but a necessary part! The movie was a fantastic adaptation of the book and just what I envisioned while reading the book.
If you like Taylor Lautner without his shirt on this is the movie for you! If you are an Edward, Rob P, fan than he gives a great performance and his perfectly chiseled face will keep you smiling!!!! I have always loved Kristin Stewart as Bella and this is were I am different from most. I didn't like the original Twilight movie in the theaters but on DVD it has grown on me, but New Moon made me fall in love with the series again and this movie ECLIPSE made me excited for Breaking Dawn to come out and I can't wait!!!! There was too little time given to the backgrounds of Rosalie and Jasper, each could have added 5 minutes to their stories as they are important to the last movies and there could have been a little more build up to the major fight scene, but other than that the movie lived up to the book and brought it to a new level. I am a fan for life!!!!!

Bizarre, but visually arresting

Not having read the book, I may not have been able to appreciate it as much as someone who has, but I found it entertaining and interesting although a somewhat bizarre story and characters. A bit long, but from a friend who read the graphic novel, he said it was extremely faithful to the book. Like 300, it is a visual delight to behold, from the landscapes to the characters and their costumes to the slow-mo Matrix style fight scenes.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
