I thought this movie was fair at best. It kept me interested to the end but thats because I was waiting for something really cool to happen. But it really didnt. It had some cool effects in it but thats it. The plot of the movie wasn't very good and it was really confusing. The movie got some good reviews so maybe it was me. I should of waited til it came out on dvd, but Leo is my favorite actor. I think my hopes were to high going into the movie. Maybe next time Leo.

The film was everything it meant to be. It is an interesting mind provoker that I found does come together well in the end. Why some of the background story is fairly incomplete such as how the science or physical device that gets people into dreams works, this is really not important to what the film was meant to be a thriller suspense for the viewer.

Scruffy lead DiCaprio monopolizes this summer's angst as TomCobb. You may say he's a dreamer, but he's not the only one. It's kinda like a heist flick, if the safe crackers all fell asleep instead of robbing a bank, and if they added treasure to the vault instead of heisting it all. The 1st half of the movie rocks! Ken Watanabe is great when he's not trying to hold his head up under a bunch of old-people-makeup. Juno as Ariadne is cute and smart again. And what is the deal with Cillian Murphy? Dude needs more leading roles- remember 28 Days Later? Yeah, that dude. The Scarecrow. Anyway, the end was too loooooong and draaaaawwwwwwwnnn out, but the final shot was cool. What? You think I'm going to give it away? Say it was all a dream or something? I wouldn't do that to you.

i went to see inception with high hopes....but was let down.....christopher nolan is great.....loved dark knight and memento was also really good.....juts found it really confusing and longer then it needed to be.... yet still must see it.... it is good just not nolan's best

Constructing this complex sci fi dreamworld requires lots and lots of rules, but most are followed in an admirably clear way. While it veers toward melodrama in places, writer/director Christopher Nolan keeps the complex plot structure, ensemble cast, and elaborate effects on track for the entire 2.5 hours. Amazing. More than lived up to the hype. It's smart, with jawdropping visuals, great characters & cast. a real ride but very satisfying as something more intellectually challenging. I love the director! What a genius he is! I'm not a big fan of DiCaprio's movies, but this one just blew my mind away! Although the concept itself is complicated and therefore could've been very confusing and get lost easily, he pulled out nicely and the movie was impeccable. It was very long, but very well plotted so didn't think that was too long or bored during the movie, Although it might be hard to grasp the concept at the beginning, you'll have to wait to see the whole picture like a puzzle.

A trippy ride, and actually worth the ridiculous price of admission! I loved how the layers upon layers of reality kept my mind occupied, and I might even see it again to catch things I'm sure I missed. HOWEVER, I HATE that the final is-it-live-or-is-it-Memorex moment is left hanging open-ended to our interpretation or guesses. I'll write the ending to my OWN stories, but I expect the screenwriters to actually provide them in the theater, not to cop out with a "cool" ambiguous ending that just leaves the audience annoyed. The sighs of dismay in my theater when the credits started were massive. Way to snatch defeat from the arms of victory, guys...

Boring. Confusing. Bad casting of Ellen Page's character - seemed like an afterthought. WTF? I loved "Memento" and "The Dark Knight" and assumed this film would either be similar to "The Matrix" or it would delve into aspects of dreams and lucid dreaming. It didn't. Special effects do not a good movie make. Ending was a good cliff hanger, but I almost slept through it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I loved the movie. It really made you think about what was going on. Really enjoyed it. Execpt the ending I really think they shouldve done the ending alittle different. My personal opinion is that it should have ended differently. Overall though I will prob buy it when it comes out

What a wild ride! Best movie I've seen in years! It grabs you in the first frame and doesn't let go till the end when it throws you off a cliff! Great acting, great art direction, great directing, totally awesome. I definitely want to go see this again because there are so many nuances that I'm sure I missed the first time around. I will definitely buy this on DVD.

Overall entertaining. Great art direction and music. The acting is pretty good, too. But story and character development suffer: most of the story is a series of contrivances to make the concept function. Very "Matrix" like in flavor, but not in the same league.

This was an excellent movie. The plot kept me entertained from beginning to end. There wasn't a time in the entire movie that I was looking at my watch or hoping that it would speed up. The acting was great in the movie also. I am a fan of Christopher Nolan movies and this movie did not disappoint. I think this one may be his best.
