Interesting, engrossing

Constructing this complex sci fi dreamworld requires lots and lots of rules, but most are followed in an admirably clear way. While it veers toward melodrama in places, writer/director Christopher Nolan keeps the complex plot structure, ensemble cast, and elaborate effects on track for the entire 2.5 hours. It's refreshing to see a summer blockbuster that is NOT a sequel or based on a comic book or television series.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
