This Movie was amazing! When it first came out I thought that the blue characters were not attractive at all. My friend convinced me to watch it.. It really caught my attention and I would recommend it for anyone. I was able to relate to it because of all the diversity we have in the U.S. and the movie was a little similar to that. Just Watch it! It'll be worth it!

While the plot is somewhat predictable, the movie is beautifully made and the acting is terrific. Definitely an enjoyable film. As a bonus, the 3D effects didn't make me at all queasy, though I had expected them to do so.

This movie was amazing. Although the plot seems to follow that of a Disney film I won't mention (to avoid spoiling) The graphics are mind boggling. The IMAX 3D experience makes you feel like you're following the characters along through the forest. The colors were breath taking and the actors were completely submerged in character. Well done.

I initially had pretty low expectations going in, but ended up being totally blown away. The 'message' was sincere and relevant, my only complaint being the corny acting by a few main characters.. (Stupid MARINES one liners) I wished they'd spent some of that 500 million $ budget to secure some better actors. Oh well.. the special effects made up for it.. Might be a little too intense for younger kids.. the IMAX 3D is a must... A+!

I went to see this movie on 3D Imax with a 38 year old male techno/sci-fi self-admitted nerd, two 11 year old girls and 31 year old female disliker of sci-fi...as well as myself a 38 year old female lover of fantasy/sci-fi. Everyone raved over this movie. It was long, over 2 1/2 hours, but no one felt the time go by. Yeah the plot was not new but the writing and the acting and the editing made it fresh and brought another planets civilization alive in a way never captured before. I have never gone back to see a movie in the theatre...but for this one I would. I have bought only a handfull of movies on DVD, this is a no brainer. If you don't go to see another movie this year...this is one to see.

I may not choose James Cameron, jerk supreme, as a dinner guest, but he sure can tell a story. And it's thrilling to see the ongoing development of 3D technology. I had a few queasy moments, with some rapid image movement and deep deep bass, but overall this was a thrill. A classic story told with dazzling new technology and interesting characters. Don't miss this evolution in cinema.

A great time at the movies. Truly new storylines are rare, to say the least. So, the fact that this story has been told before does not deter from the enjoyment of how it is told in this setting, time, and in magnificent IMAX 3D. You leave the theatre feeling good and amazed at what can be done with technology to enhance the movie viewing experience. Definitely worth experiencing the IMAX version.

For whatever faults I may have found with the story, this movie has a lot of heart and soul. The experience in IMAX 3D is truly jaw-dropping and almost completely immersive. Great special effects, but this movie actually made me angry. Screenplay sucks. Why are US marines and the US shown as evil, greedy humans? (Impossible to disconnect the military shown from US military due to language, uniforms, etc}. Bet this movie was financed by US enemies (Arabic money). Who else has 500 million dollars to waste on such huge propaganda? Check this out. just my opinion. IF so, shame on Cameron!

At 2 hrs and 40 minutes, this is one of the longest movies I've ever seen. But watching it for the first time, I never thought to myself that the movie was dragging. The visuals in the movie are just amazing, like nothing I've ever seen in any other movies. My friends and I joke that after leaving the theater, regular life just seems so dull and boring. Seeing the movie in IMAX 3D was great. A definate add to my movie collection

The CG was fantastic. Looked so realistic that I could almost believed the plants and creatures existed. The world and some of the scenes will remind some viewers of games they may have played, like Final Fantasy and World of Warcraft.

This was my first IMAX 3D experience and it FAR exceeded my expectations. I'd always wondered what the difference between 3D and IMAX 3D was... I'm no longer wondering. The difference is unexplainable. The graphics made you feel as if you were actually in another world with the characters. It was a movie experience like no other. I see lots of people are saying that the plot was one we've all seen before. Well, aren't all movies a play on some familiar storyline? That's totally irrelevant. This story line may have been familiar but the graphics took it to a new place that I feel everyone should experience.
