Only downside I had for this movie is I saw it in IMAX, and I got in the theater 25 minutes early and it was completely full, had to sit 3 rows from screen. I am a huge fan of Transformers, have been since the original cartoon series. This movie was awesome, and followed many parts from the cartoon series as well as the comics. A must see for any fan of transformers. Very action packed, well worth the money.

This movie is great in IMAX! It was so loud and the screen was so crisp, def recommend it. From the beginning the movie took off, introducing the back story of the fallen. The parents are hilarious along with the addition of the new transformers! Special effects really showed through, may people worried this movie wouldn't be as good but the fight scenes and story is amazing. The movie did not feel like 2.5 hours at all, there was non stop action, tons of laughs, great special effects and oh yeah Megan Fox! Will be seeing this movie again. SEE IT IN IMAX!

The wait to get into the IMAX theater was definitely worth it. With better jokes and more extravagant fight scenes, this movie easily surpassed the first Transformers film. I actually really enjoyed the music as well. It came in at all the right moments and did a great job of accentuating the plot. I'll be going to see it again, you can be sure.

It was awesome! I'm glad I bought the tickets the day before and got there an hour early! The Imax part was ok but the movie rocked! Would totally go see it again in Imax but only at an IMAX Theater!! SO much action and the cars OMG!!! Megan looked really good in this movie!

Amazing effects. Almost too fast to follow. Lots of action, but too many fight scenes. There could have been 5 less. Then sitting in the theatres wouldn't have been so boring. I mean, I love a good fight scene, but 20? Ugh. Too many. Plus the sap at the end. -Barf!

To say Michael Bay has hit a new all-time low with Transformers 2 would certainly be an understatement, and thats coming from someone who kinda likes the first film. In the sequel, however, Michael Bay proves just how much he knows about directing, acting, and comedy: nothing. Transformers 2 is without question one of those films that will in infamy for having some of the worst attempts at comedy ever put on a film screen. Well, I would at least hope so, seeing as how people actually clapped at the end of this atrocity. Oh society, when will you realize: Michael Bay sucks!

This is a very good movie, but the language in the movie was not for me, the story was a little out there sometimes but for a 2.5 hour movie it keep me interisted the entire time, If it was not for the language I would have given it a 5. I thought the movie was awesome overall! The action was great and the love story in it was just as good. BUT....I didn't understand all the cursing. I've seen both now and would say the plot was improved, the movie flowed from beginning to end, but the acting leaves much to be desired. That's people stuff...........the special effects were amazing especially in IMAX. If you like non-stop action and were a big fan of the toys and cartoon then it is a must see. Amazing what computers can do these days showing these monster machines walking around naturally in landscape upon landscape. Not sure when robots had teeth nor were required to perform a comedy routine. You will definitely get plenty of bang for the buck. Enjoy.

Michael Bay and his fabulous team have done it again! This film leaves you wanting for more. From laughter to tears to high packed action it is a prefect sequal to an already wonderful film. INTENSE from beginning to end! It was kind of nerve-racking, not knowing what could happen in certain scenes...but THAT makes for a great movie experience. I felt that certain characters didn't have enough of a role, Arcee for example. One of my complaints about the first film was that there wasn't enough brawling between Autobots and Decepticons. "Revenge..." flips that around, there are fantastic and violent fight scenes-a-plenty in this one! Fans of the Transformers G1 cartoon will enjoy this movie. Don't listen to the critics! They OVER-analyze films. Watch it in IMAX, it's worth it!

All negtive reviews are garbage. This movie is everything the fans wanted. The humor, the action, Megan Fox, etc. I do not understand why the critics are saying it is too loud, it is Transformers. It is everything you would expect Michael Bay to do in a sequel. Bigger robots (and way more of them), bigger action, and a much longer movie length. It is hard to see myself watching this one over and over again like I did with the first movie, but I enjoyed it, and would definitely recommend it to anyone. To be honest, I don't think this particular movie wears well with time. I felt like it was just another rehash of the first movie. I went to the IMAX and the effects were great, but I felt like I was seeing the same movie over again. At least with the Harry Potter series, the characters change as does the tone of the movies.

I left this movie with a sense that i had been fooled. Fooled by the awesome graphics and sounds and action to a point where i almost felt bad that i wasn't as impressed as the movie forced me to be. And while it definitely has its moments the movie became more tedious than enjoyable toward the end and instead of getting excited during the action sequences i started to get slightly annoyed. If a movie that is action driven causes me to look at my watch numerous times you have to begin to think that it isn't doing something right. Overall the movie almost dictates you to see it as great but if you really look behind the smoke and mirrors you see where the movie misses its potential by a long shot.

Wow... glad I got my tail in a seat 40 minutes before the dang movie started. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I was glad to see Optimus fighting a bit more... Bumblebee kicked butt and the only things I could've done without was the Twins. There is so much to digest, you gatta see this movie atleast twice. I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this movie. I honestly thought it was way better than the first. It had a lot of action and a good plot. It was one of the best movies out this year

I heard lots of review, mostly bashing this movie, which was totally expected. I think of this movie as being "review-proof" (even if I am writing one myself) because of the type movie it is. Lots of mindless action, cool special effects, hot women all more than made up for the silly story that was presented. I thought this movie was fun summer entertainment, especially for fanboys and girls of the old shows. My one and only complaint is the extra cost for seeing this in "Imax" presentation.I could have paid less to see it in a regular theater, but wanted to check out the "Imax Experience" at regular theater. Not really worth the extra money.
