I've seen both now and would say the plot was improved, the movie flowed from beginning to end, but the acting leaves much to be desired. That's people stuff...........the special effects were amazing especially in IMAX. If you like non-stop action and were a big fan of the toys and cartoon then it is a must see. Amazing what computers can do these days showing these monster machines walking around naturally in landscape upon landscape. Not sure when robots had teeth nor were required to perform a comedy routine. You will definitely get plenty of bang for the buck. Enjoy.
