This was the most action packed movie I have seen in a long time. I was literally worn out by the time the movie was over. There was never a dull moment and it stayed with the story-line wonderfully. Everyone with me were on the edge of their seats at all different times and parts of the movie. EXCELLENT!!!!!!

If you have seen Transformers the Movie and Michael Bay's Transformers, then you will most likely see Michael Bay's second Transformers film. The action and CGI delivered was what should be expected at this point. There are many plot points that will have you saying to yourself, wasn't this in the animated movie or that one episode, only to be explained in a "new" way. If you expect a plot that surpasses the original cartoon, then look someplace else. If you are looking for a reason to see giant robots kick @$$, then it was well work the IMAX price. Highly recommend for teenagers (and people that can turn off there cell phone for two-and-a-half hours).

Sure, the effects are amazing, but that's where all the budget went. The script is lame, and the story is so simple there's really no need for this film to be over 2 hours long. We saw it at the IMAX, but the seats were off to one side and fairly near the front, which just meant it was impossible to track everything that was going on on-screen. There's a couple of stupid new Transformers, the "Twins", who just help to dumb this moving down to the 10-16 year old category. I liked the first movie as it was a good mix of humor and effects, but this second one has gone way over the top with frat-boy humor and excessive effects.

Ok. The plot is thin but if you are going to see this movie you really want to see Giant Robots Fighting. Well, you get it with this one and in IMAX it looks and sounds amazing! Twas another entertaining movie from MBay. Disregard all the negative critics you hear and read. This is not an Oscar one to begin with after all -- so shame on them! I really love the robots, tha blasts left and right, and the human characters as well. I had a really good time watching it on IMAXX, and definitely worth every penny of it. Fantastic movie...EXCEPT for those extremely culturally insulting robot twins ("Mudflap" and "Shuck-N-Jive," or whatever). As an African-American male, I was horribly insulted by these characters...who resembled monkeys and one of which had a bucked gold tooth who spoke ebonics the entire time. The little redneck kids behind me kept referring to them as the "black ones." I almost left the theater. I will not recomend this to anyone else and all of my African-American friends had the same issue (to varying degrees) with this movie...VERY insulting.

This movie is absolutely rediculous. The CGI is the best I have seen in a movie. I saw it 2 times in one day [both IMAX] this was the first movie I had seen in this form and there is no other way to see it. This time they took the robots and put a human side to them, they bleed, cry and show real emotion. I like how they brought more realistic language to the real people watching these movies...ADULTS! we grew up with these things and we can handle cursing. I saw this movie in IMAX and any movie in IMAX is a grand experience. I have no idea what some reviewers are talking about when they say the movie was too loud, it was fine. But that wasn't the problem. The movie was so-so, with the robots being the main attraction. If the humans weren't in the film, I wouldn't have missed them, in other words, PIXAR might be a BIG consideration for Transformers 3. And parents take the PG-13 in consideration. I sat infront of two 7 year old boys who loved repeating all the curse words in the film while their father did nothing.

This movie fufilled every expectation I had for a transformers sequel, and then some. Amazing action scenes, great plot, the best 2.5 hours I've spent in a theater since Lord of the Rings.
It feels the ending is a bit rushed, but it's nothing to bring down the rating of the movie.
Imax was definitely the way to go as well. I will never again watch a movie in a regular theater if it's available in IMAX as well.

Two years ago, Transformers totally ruined all other summer blockbusters for me. I'm afraid to say that this movie (especially in IMAX--wow! What an awesome picture and the surround sound was incredible) has probably ruined all other summer blockbusters for me as well. It was just that good. The script wasn't as tight as it could be, but all your favorite characters are back, the action sequences are rockin', and the special effects are mind blowingly cool. If you're looking for a fast paced, fun action flick with a great sense of humor, look no further than Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

I saw this movie in IMAX. Let me tell you this is the only way to see it! The special effects were excellent. Compared to the first Transformers this one had way more robotic action. Shia and Megan have great chemistry again and they both look HOT! The addition of Ramon added humor and another great character.

The first one had a better story and this one may have been a little too long (beware the giant sodas!), but overall it was great fun. Besides, do you really go to a Michael Bay movie for the story? No, you go for the action and explosions! I had fun and seeing it in IMAX is great! The visual overload is what makes this a great summer blockbuster movie.

The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen builds on the original premise of the Autobots protection of the humans against the Decepticons. Sam has grown into a college student and has grown in his relationship with Michaela. Add in some new and interesting characters like Leo, Sam's college roommate and alien robot conspiracy nut, Alice, a hot co-ed who turns out to be more, and a couple of new twin Autobots that add additional spice. The sound, especially in IMAX, is absolutely incredible - the best I've ever heard. My one complaint, which is the same as the original film, is that it is difficult to tell during the fight scenes which are the Autobots and the Decepticons.
