Faithful to the book!

I'm a fan of the books, and they screwed up the first one. But I would say..hands down to Chris Weitz for this one. Amazing special effects, good make-up, and over-all filming is really good. I would say that MR picked a lot of lines from the book itself, which was good. All the important secenes in the book were there. They added a few that worked in favor of the movie as well.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

An amazing summer movie!

Twas another entertaining movie from MBay. Disregard all the negative critics you hear and read. This is not an Oscar one to begin with after all -- so shame on them! I really love the robots, tha blasts left and right, and the human characters as well. I had a really good time watching it on IMAXX, and definitely worth every penny of it. Looking forward to another sequel.

i felt two hours was kinda short for the movie. they lived up to the book though i hope they could have prolonged the meadow scene and the romance between the two star-crossed lovers. well, it's a twilight thing. so, if you loved the books..you will appreciate the movie. hope they will even do better in the next sequels. really..really loved the movie! i will surely and definitely watch it again.
