I personally agree with the critic's harsh reviews! This movie was just bad I don't evan know where to start. First there was the distasteful immature unnecessary comedy, it is ok to have comedy in a movie but that is literally all this movie was. Another is that the action scenes were terrible, I like action where you can achually see what is happening and this was just a cluster of nothing! Those are the two main things that make this movie horrifyingly bad but believe me that is just the beginning on why this is a terrible movie. BOTTEM LINE: I really hope that this made you want to go see something else but who knows you might like it.

My 4 teens and I say this movie at the IMAX in Santa Monica...first of all super nice theatre and very comfortable seats! The movie was top notch, the sound quality and special effects were amazing...the transformation of vehicles into transformers was out of this world...never seen anything like it. I an my kids had a great time and even though it is 2hrs and 30 mins it does not seem that long...a must see!!!!

Great graphics and a lot of action, but very cheesy. It was funny at times, but often so corny I was left shaking my head in disbelief. As for the plot, I have to agree with what I read from one critic: its riddled with plot holes big enough to drive Optimus Prime through. If you want to see giant robots battle it out, by all means, have at it. But if you want to follow a storyline with continuity and attention to detail, I'd skip this one.

I saw the movie twice in IMAX. Left me speechless... had much more action than first and saw it in IMAX was an extraordinary experience. The fight scene in the woods... was expectacular. Shhh....giant robots from space are hiding among us. There's your plot, now shut up and enjoy the ride. The action is hard, heavy and well directed. Michael Bay re-invents the giant transforming robots genre, such as it is. Too much Shia, too much bad robot schtick, and 30 minutes too long. That being said, I enjoyed it and will probably see it again.

I walked into the IMAX expecting to be wowed by one of the best movies of my life. I walked out wowed. Don't get me wrong this movie has some funny moments, some of the best action and visual effects ever, but the plot is convulated, a lot of the movie feels forced in it's dramatic moments. But if you need escape for 2 1/2 hours this is your movie.

I was listening to 98 rock on the radio and the host had nothing good to say about the movie. He said the robots cursed, the transformation scenes are blurry, and there was no plot. I saw the movie in IMAX and that host is an idiot. Yes the robots curse but I enjoyed it. The transforation scenes were so numerous that the fact that they were not as sharp as the first movie is moot. They already amazed us in the first movie so they didn't need to blow us away in this one. The plot was great. It didn't seem contibed like some other sci-fi movies can. It was nice and long, funny as some comedies Iv'e seen, and the only thing I bad I have to say is this: Where did the little decepticon go at the end of the movie?

Excellent film. I loved it so much I went twice to see it in the Imax. The images and sounds were fantastic. I was so excited to see Transformers, since I could remember I grew up watching these amazing cartoons right after school every day and I never missed an episode.. The movie was brilliant, Shia & Megan make this movie look so good.. The movie was packed with action from beginning to end, a ''must see'' summer film. I hope to see Shia & Megan & Bumble Bee on the next one with lots more autobots & pack with awesome insane action.... Love you Michael Bay......

The action scenes where superb, and no other movie could give you that kind of high with the amount of whirlwind fighting and destruction of cities. However, the amount of effort put in to add a bit of dry humor (transformer balls? Why?) was over the top. I also found the desperate need for including irrelevant characters (huge sand eating transformer WHAT?! What’s the roommate's role?). The story between Sam and Mikaela didn't flow at all. The two of them battle through thick and thin, life and death, and the end of the entire world and the only thing she is interested in is the dreaded L word. A movie to see that's for sure but not one that will go down in the books as a hugely successful sequel. The first far surpasses the second.

I became a transformar fan after watching the first one and when I watched the trailer of this movie I was kind of disappointed. I think the story was not good enough and it was not enticing. I started to wait for the ending on the half way and my wife was sleeping almost for the half of the movie and she did not even asked me what happend.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
