The action scenes where superb, and no other movie could give you that kind of high with the amount of whirlwind fighting and destruction of cities. However, the amount of effort put in to add a bit of dry humor (transformer balls? Why?) was over the top. I also found the desperate need for including irrelevant characters (huge sand eating transformer WHAT?! What’s the roommate's role?). The story between Sam and Mikaela didn't flow at all. The two of them battle through thick and thin, life and death, and the end of the entire world and the only thing she is interested in is the dreaded L word. A movie to see that's for sure but not one that will go down in the books as a hugely successful sequel. The first far surpasses the second.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
