I was listening to 98 rock on the radio and the host had nothing good to say about the movie. He said the robots cursed, the transformation scenes are blurry, and there was no plot. I saw the movie in IMAX and that host is an idiot. Yes the robots curse but I enjoyed it. The transforation scenes were so numerous that the fact that they were not as sharp as the first movie is moot. They already amazed us in the first movie so they didn't need to blow us away in this one. The plot was great. It didn't seem contibed like some other sci-fi movies can. It was nice and long, funny as some comedies Iv'e seen, and the only thing I bad I have to say is this: Where did the little decepticon go at the end of the movie?
I would first like to state that this movie is very dark and is in no way prententious. Many of us assume nudity refers to women but there is male nudity in this movie. Some may see this as gross but when we think of great works of art we might think about the statue of david which is an amazing work of art that also displayed male nudity. All aspects of this movie bring it together to create a true work of art. Better than Slumdog in my opinion.
