Maybe the hype has the best of this movie, but all a big disappointment, Snappy Banter has been heard before and it all seems like its trying too hard. Since I travel nearly as much as Ryan Bingham, George Clooney, I could relate to his situation. It was a realistic portrayal of the life of a road warrior. Unfortunately, the ending was very empty with Alex, Ryan's love interest, taking an out of character turn. It almost seemed like they had two endings in mind, filmed parts of both and combined them. The ending made a great movie into a less than satisfactory good movie.

I loved this - point perfect performances from all of the actors, and especially Clooney. I travel a lot for business myself and got a kick out of the quest for the next frequent flyer mile. However, my husband, who usually shares my tastes, really hated it. I could sense him squirming right from the start and by the end he was barely speaking to me.

Good acting by G.C.,some funny scenes, easy to watch beautiful actors, however slow paced and a bit predictable. One sided message that our economy is bad and people are victims of this economy. I really liked this movie. It engendered a lot of emotion and the ending punched me in the gut. I actually felt pain unlike any movie I had seen recently. This film hit all the right buttons. All three main characters (actors) were real and believable. The performances by George, Vera and Anna were Academy Award level throughout the film. The issues revolving around layoffs, firings and corporate downsizing could not have been more timely or relevant. The interpersonal relationships and the introspection of George Clooney's and Anna Kendrick's characters were wonderful to watch unfold. This was a great movie!

Very entertaining with timely subject matter. All well acted .. especially liked the young girl. Lots of clever humor and witty lines with undertones of sadness and some thought provoking nuances that popped up in my mind the next day.
