It was absolutely amazing, i love the books and they have done an excellent job of sticking to the story apart from a few details. The special effects are very believable and so is the romance. Its also had some very funny moments. I throughly enjoyed it and will more then likely pre order the movie as I did with the first one!

I'm a 36year old Full-Blown HETERO male and I thought this movie rocks baby. Go "lobos". Dakota was brilliant as was Kristen. But the real star is definately Taylor. The movie would not be as good if he didn't nail his part. Taylor outperformed "Edward" big time.

I truely enjoyed this movie.. I would definetly recommend it to all that have seen the first movie or have read the books. I felt it was alot better than the first one espically all of the stunt and fight scenes they seemed more real looking in this movie. It gave me goose bumps more than once.. I also thought the make up and wordrobe was well done in this movie!! The movie was true to the book the whole way through which just put everything in to perspective about what i read in the book.. The new director did an Awesome Job i can't wait to see Eclipse!!! I would see this movie over and over again and enjoy it everytime i see it.

I read all of the books and I am always concerned when I go see a movie. You never know if the director will stick to the book. I would say that overall they stuck with the book. I am not a huge fan of Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, but still enjoy the movies. I was interested to see how they were going to hadle the transformation of the werewolves and I must say I was impressed! I only saw Twilight in the theatres once, but I might actually pay to seed New Moon a second time!

I had heard New Moon had a better budget. It definately showed. The actors did an even better job of bringing the characters to life. Taylor Lautner, especially, did a fantastic job as Jacob Black. This one really draws you in!!!

This movie is incredibly awesome! It followed the book extremely well and has in my mind the PERFECT ending! Also the fight scenes were wonderful. Overall, this movie was phenomenal in my opinion. Now just can't wait for Eclipse! I feel that Chris Weitz did an absolutely wonderful amazing job!

The entire movie was based on a love triangle scenario, not vampires, werewolves, thrill, or the action of the original movie. There were few characters and those beyond Bella and Lukas weren't fleshed out much. Likewise, this production failed establish the spark between Bella and Edward which all the tension of love triangle hinged upon. The Bella/Lukas spark was much more believable and moving. But was nothing without the contrasting love between Edward and Bella.
Finally there was some really poor location, set, and extra choice. The town of the Volitarie was a joke, the court looked like cardboard, and all the extras looked like every day white Los Angelenes.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

After reading the series, I watched Twilight on DVD and was disappointed in the lack of real content from the book. I realize that not everything will fit in 2 hours, but the parts that made the book best were left out or altered too much. And the makeup? Bad. Twi New Moon left in all the best of the book, the characters really came out at their best and the makeup was more realistic. SpecEffects were done just right, my tween (9) and teen (13) both loved it, as well.

I did like Twilight but this was so much better. The special effects were awesome. I want one of those wolves as a bodyguard for my dog, LOL. I really liked the change in the look of the Cullens; their eyes were gorgeous. The acting was superb. Can't wait for the next.

I'm completely 100% Team Edward!! I went into this movie thinking I wouldn't like it nearly as much because of Edward's absence in most of this book. Edward was in the movie much more than I expected, but I've got to say I really enjoyed Jacob in this one. I really started to like his character more and found myself even pulling for him by the end of the movie. The movie was done very well and it was just as good, if not better, than the first one. Bella's clumsiness seemed more realistic. All 3 main characters seemed less like amatures and more like the characters we've all come to love. I'll be going back to see this one again!!

I have read all the twilight books and loved them, but by no means am I obsessed. The first movie was very dissapointing but I thought that New Moon was significantly better. Not only were the effects much improved but it also portrayed the book with supprising accuracy. The only cons would be the ridiculous scene at the end where Alice has a vision of Bella as a vampire and the dizzying effect of the camera spinning around a subject.

I enjoyed watching this movie. It was everything I expected. Cheesy! Watched with my fiancee. The film is good entertainment, some parts do drag a bit. Some parts made me laugh out loud, some of the characters are a bit over the top and melodramatic.
But as I said, what I expected. Also Bella is not a role model, she is sort of a floozy I think, and parents of daughters need to please tell them not to be like her!!!!!!

It was great to see the characters "come alive" but that's where the good part ends. I felt the scenes were too choppy, the music sucked, and the makeup/hair of some of the characters were ridiculous. Not too mention that a lot of the book was skipped. Granted, it's a movie and not everything from the book can be placed in a 2-hour slot. But key points from the book was not included which I expected to see. I'll get the DVD when it comes out ... eventually, just because it's part of the series. The New Moon book was not my favorite of the series but it definitely is better than the movie.
