Movie was really great overall, I'm glad they stayed true to the book. It moved along pretty well considering how much of the book focused on Bella's depression. I loved the fact the actor's were brought to life more visually, much better than Twilight. I was surprised with the ending, considering that's a big jump ahead, but I guess they wanted a quick lead into Eclipse. Can't wait until summer!!

This was a GREAT movie. That said, I wouldn't go see it without seeing twilight first or at least reading one of the books. But I had fun and the acting was perfect, the special effects were untouchable and it was exactly how I pictured it when reading. I highly recomend it.

New Moon was an excellent follow-up to the somewhat lacking "Twilight." Kristen Stewart seemed to really capture the heartache that Bella's character embodied for much of the book. I was incredibly impressed with Taylor Lautner's Jacob in this installment-- almost enough to make me a member of "Team Jacob." (I'll swoon for book Edward and movie Jacob, I suppose.)
At any rate, this movie captured a feel for the book that I felt that it's predecessor lacked. If you're a fan of the series, it will seem almost perfect! Run out and see it, it will not disappoint.

I went into this movie with "medium" hopes for it's success. I happen to be a huge fan of the book series, and I thought the Twilight movie was "alright." After watching New Moon, I walked out of the theater pretty satisfied. It was funny, sweet, and it kept me at the edge of my seat (even though I've read the book about 7 times!). Can't wait until the DVD comes out!
I'm anticipating Eclipse in May! Yay!

I loved New Moon, it was outshines Twlight by far. ONly i didnot like how they left out charaects such as Leah, who will be very important later on. Also i do not like the ay they ended the movie. With this said i throughly enjoyed watching New Moon and Jacob rocks!

i think that the movie was a good interpretation of the book. It followed more closely then twilight and the special effects were good as well. The description of all the characters were correct for the most part. And, overall movie was good.

I definately think Summit is now on the right track with this franchise. Twilight left alot to be desired. This movie took it up a few notches. Acting was better and the flow of the story was much improved. It didn't lag in spots the way Twilight did. If they keep on this road Eclipse should really rock. I believe the change in director made all the difference. I liked the little cliffy at the end.

Not having read the book, I was very happy with the movie. Much better effects and character development in this installment of the series. Worth the 3 hours I waited outside in line to see. Still would not take a guy to it. He would not understand.

This movie was AMAZING! I was so impressed! To anyone who had a complaint about Twilight: no worries! All of the acting has improved so incredibly much, the actors seem so much more comfortable and practiced in their roles. The cinematography is beautiful, and most importantly, it was true to the book. I have never been so pleased about a movie adaptation of a book that I love. It was the first time I truely felt like the directors honestly cared about telling the story the author wrote. I could not have asked for a better film!

New Moon was the best movie I have seen ...They did a way better job with the second one.... not that Twilight wasn't good but it wasn't as good as New Moon. The cast was amazing... it was so worth the wait. The feeling I had when I left the movie OMG i can't even explain it. Do not take me wrong...I love the movie. This installment was much better than the first one. Chris and his team were quite faithful with the book and the special effects (wolves and Edward's presence) were fantastic. But I got my issues... the Cullen's makeup, the dialogues were sometimes too short and looked even childish. The author uses a rich language, one that we all understand, why do not follow Ms Meyer words and vision...I don't, maybe I was looking for more cadence and fluidity in the dialogues.

While I wouldn't strongly recommend this film for the general public, fans of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series will love it. Details of the story were very close to the book and the emotions of the characters were easy to understand and feel. New Moon moves along quickly, so it's very entertaining. The direction, acting and special effects of this film are a vast improvement over the first in the series. I was especially impressed with Taylor Lautner's emotional transformation -- I actually believed Jacob matured and his character became more complex. But, most people will be too distracted by his physical transformation to notice!

I have been waiting for a long time for this movie to come out. I am the biggest fan in Mississippi and this show was absoultly astounding! I cried, laughed, and cried again! This was a good movie for all ages and for males and females as there is more action than in Twilight. It was deffinitely a "bigger movie" than the first. I am assuming there was a bigger budget. It leaves you wanting for more...lots of "beef cake" shots which goes over big with the females! And lots of tension because their love has many obstacles.

I thought the movie was awesome, but nothing compared to the book. As a movie watcher I would highly recommend the movie, but as a fan of the books......so many details were left out. Understandably though, b/c the movie was already over 2 hours long.
