New Moon was an excellent follow-up to the somewhat lacking "Twilight." Kristen Stewart seemed to really capture the heartache that Bella's character embodied for much of the book. I was incredibly impressed with Taylor Lautner's Jacob in this installment-- almost enough to make me a member of "Team Jacob." (I'll swoon for book Edward and movie Jacob, I suppose.)
At any rate, this movie captured a feel for the book that I felt that it's predecessor lacked. If you're a fan of the series, it will seem almost perfect! Run out and see it, it will not disappoint.
Wall-E is another hit from Pixar, and is undoubtedly the best movie of the year so far. While there isn't as much dialogue as one would have anticipated, it certainly doesn't detract from the film. Wall-E is capable of evoking plenty of emotion from movie-goers... it's sort of like watching a Charlie Chaplin movie. It's also the sort of movie that I think everyone will love, from age 1 to 101. If you're looking to see something this summer that will have you leave the theater in a fantastic mood, this is the movie for you.
