Loved it! A couple things could have been done a little better maybe but for 2 hours and 10 minutes, I was in heaven! Counting down the days now until Eclipse comes out June 30th 2010!

i took my husband who isn't into the whole vampire thing but he liked the where-wolves. It was better than twilight! The vampire eyes were great! Love lines are still cheesy but part of that could definitely be the acting. Jacob was impressive and it makes u understand better why Bella was so selfish in leading him on. All in all it was great and can't wait for the next one!

Huge improvement over the quality of the first movie and if you loved the books you'll enjoy almost every minute - by far the best actor (and not just best body - though he was that too!) was Taylor Lautner which was a surprise. "Edward's" acting was a little lame and kind of disappointing but as a whole movie experience it was worth the watch (and the wait in line!)

Overall I thought the movie was decent. I didn't have any major gripes about acting and such. My biggest problem was that I thought that there would be more storyline involving the Cullens. I really the liked family aspect of the first film. This one, however, really did not involve them much at all. This may not even be a problem with the movie since I have never read any of the books. I just personally enjoy the vampire part of it much more.

I think that this movie was awesome!!!!! It was sooo much better than the first movie. They also did a whole lot better of making the movie like the book. I mean there was some parts were it wasn't exactly the same but it was still good enough to fit. In my opinion at the end of the movie they did a horrible job of making the end of the movie add up to the book. Two things I liked the most were the acting and the effects. The actors did a really good job of portraying the characters. A lot better than they did in the last movie. And the effects were awesome. They did a really good job with those too.

New Moon was such a great movie and a great cinema representation of the book...I loved the translation from book to movie of the 4 months Bella was in "mourning"...the book version was powerful but so was the movie version....well done! I loved Twilight but New Moon blew it away in every aspect. Ending was GREAT....can't wait 6.30.10!!!!

My husband and I saw the New Moon movie last night and enjoyed the movie very much. We both read all four novels.
Of course, the novel is better but I thought the script writer did a wonderful job in creating the movie version.
On another note, what was really funny was listening to the reactions of the teens in the theater. We laughed just from their reactions.
All in all, the film was enjoyable, suspenseful and romantic. Go see it!

If you're looking for an exciting action packed movie this isn't it. If you've seen the previews you've pretty much seen all the action sequences. This movies was very dragged out and slow. Spent way too much time watching Bella moping over the departure of Edward. Don't waste the money going to see it at the theater, wait until it comes to the Red Box for $1. Not worth the $10 at the theater.

I loved the book, and I was concerned with how much of the story would make it into the movie. I feel that the people involved did a great job choosing and editing the details to keep as true to the book as they could in a two hour movie. The actors did a great job bringing the characters to life, and the soundtrack was a perfect match to the mood of the film. Highly recommended!

to all those critcs who thought the movie was slow and draged along...READ THE BOOKS!!! if you would follow the books and connect with the characters in the book, who'd love the movie. just like the harry potter books, if you read them you'd like them..i didn't read them, so i did not like them. I loved this movie. I really thought it was a genuinely good film. It was so much better than Twilight in numerous ways. It wasn't awkwardly funny. There were parts that were meant to be funny. The lighting and filter was better. The acting and makeup was much improved. I felt that overall, the story flowed much better. The love story came across more clearly. It was a beautifully made film. Loved it.

Me and my bf saw New Moon Saturday night and really enjoyed it. Although I think Twilight was better, the special effect in New Moon were awsome. I do wish Bella would develop more of a personality. Plus the part where Edward told Bella goodbye could have been better, she didn't even cry. Can't wait to see the next movie!

I thought this movie was fantastic!! If you are a Twilight fan or not!! It was very true to the book and the color difference was wonderful. I thought all the actors did a great job. Kristen & Taylor improved a hugh amount. Rob was wonderful as always. The only disapointment was Rob & Kristens reunion. It was great but wish it had been little longer!! The Volturi scary and terrific. The wolves all looked great and did a great job. I can't wait for Eclipse!! Chris Weitz is a fantistic director!! I am seeing it again next weekend!!

Overall, the movie was "ok" The whole point to New Moon was to convey how close Bella and Jacob became when Edward left. That relationship builds up to the climax when Edward is brought back into Bella's life. It wasn't exactly done as well as I would've hoped. The risk that Alice and Bella both take weren't mentioned in the movie. Details and people were left out of it that I don't feel should've been considering the parts they play in the overall feeling and emotion that makes the saga so captivating. the flow was choppy in comparison to Twilight, but the special effects were great... Go ahead and see it!

This move was amazing! From the trailer, I could already tell that it was going to be epic! This is a movie I would go and see over and over. Topped Twilight for sure.
All teenage girls will go crazy for this movie. The ending was the best. Just leaves you so anxious for Eclipse. You must get out there and see it.

However, there was one awful cheesy moment near the end with a vision of Bella and Edward running in slow mo in flowing white clothing through the forest. The Cullens were also "devamped", wearing less white makeup and their features were all softened from the first movie - including Edward whose eyebrows were definitely not plucked in this movie. It was entertaining to watch. Robert Pattinson did a very convincing job being emotionally conflicted and racked with torment. It was painful to watch his scenes - as it should have been.
