My daughter, son and I went to see this movie and we just loved it. It was so much bettter than the first. The characters even looked more the way they should than they did in the first movie. The facial expressions on the wolves were amazing. My daughter is already making plans to see it again.

They obviously spent a lot more money on this movie than the first one. Everything from the script to, to the make up, to the special effects was better, not great, but better. The red contact lenses looked cheap and could have been done better. The acting was went from questionable to shaky to cheesey in some spots but not enough to ruin the whole movie.
They also did not follow the story line as much in this movie as the first, but that was not necessary a bad thing. Some scenes were actually better than how they played out in the book, in my opinion.
Heres to hoping that there is even more improvement in the third movie.

If you have read the books you will love this movie. Team Jacob will greatly appreciate this installment as Jacob has a lot of screen time to showcase his love for Bella. However, team Edward won't be disappointed either. Bella, Kristen Stewart, really pulls you into her pain and heartache as she mourns the departure of Edward. Overall if you are a fan you will not be diappointed.

I am a die-hard Twilight fan and was pumped to see this film. But honestly, I walked away feeling disappointed! Chris Weitz neglected the important details that Hardwick worked so hard to portray to the audience. The eye-color of the Cullens did not make them look warm and gentle like they really are. I felt no chemistry between Edward and Bella in this film.They did not make Edward look as sexy as he really is. Rosalie's wig was awful! There was no music to evoke emotion in the intimate scenes. I feel sad that the director took this film in the direction he did because it failed to capture me the way I fell in love with Twilight! I am hoping that whoever directs the next film will bring back the heart and soul of this amazing story!

That was simply the best movie ever!!! What a great job by the director. So much better than the first movie. We go see the movie because we love the books so much, so it was great to see the movie run true to the book. I can't wait to see it again. The notebook and Transformers use to be my fav. movies not anymore.

New Moon was a good movie. Of, course I thought the book was better. I do not think Kristen Stewart can act. She is awful. So it is very hard for me to enjoy the movie with such a poor actress. Which is shame, since all the other actor/actresses are very good.

New Moon was definitely better than the first of the Twilight series. I think the acting overall was improved. The deviations from the book were mostly for the better. And the additional inserts (such as Victoria scenes) actually made for better clarification. The whole movie was totally enjoyable... regardless if you have read the books or not.

This one was definitely better than the first, but was still more of a "teen" flick. After reading the books, it's fun to see how they create a movie out of it. The acting leaves something to be desired....especially Edward. The effects were really good- especially with the Werewolves. Overall, I would say it is good, if you've read the books first.

This movie had a lot more action and was much better than the first. The introduction of the close friendship between Jacob and Bella, brought the movie into a new focus. The wolf pack and Jacob bieng a part of that, made the storyline that much worthwhile. To see the Volturi in action, was just amazing. I would recommend this movie to all vampire and wolf lovers!!! Anyone who are fans of the books will be throughly entertained.

While Twilight was a huge disappoint to me and I was wary to go see New Moon, I was completely surprised by the quality Chris Weitz brought to this movie. He had a lot of cleaning up to do, and let me tell you he did an amazing job. I loved every second of this movie. It really stayed true to the book and I swear I could have cried like 3 or 4 different times because the chemistry between Bella and Jacob was amazing! I brought my boyfriend with me and he really enjoyed the movie too! GO SEE IT!

This was in OK movie. The special effects were very cool, and it followed the book very closely. Way too much hype, tho. Also the shameless Volvo plug in the school parking lot must have made Volvo execs happy. It bugged me how Bella never seemed to look at people, she would stare at their chin.

This was a good movie, however, it wasn't as good as I was expecting. It lost a lot of the seriousness that was portrayed in the book, and seemed to me like they were trying to make this a bit of a comedy. Some of the things the characters said were just downright silly, and that in no way is like the book. They did stay true to the book, though. Oh, and Sam Uley shirtless was PRICELESS!! Will see it again (I promised my 6 yr old I'd take her to see it later) and definitely can't wait to see Eclipse!!

I went to this movie with my two sisters-in-law, my brother-in-law, and my nieces, age 7 and 11. All of us had seen the first Twilight movie. Some of us had not read the books and some of us has. While I don't expect this movie to win the best picture Oscar, it was a good entertaining film. We found the material appropriate for both of the children.

I have a feeling that people who have never read the books are the only people who overly enjoyed this movie. To me they didn't even capture half of the magic of the books. The girl who plays Bella might be adorable but she didn't pull off the character of Bella. The scene after Edward leaves and she is alone in the woods doesn't even come close to the pain and sorrow she was feeling. Having said that, I think the kid who played Jacob did a great job.

I went to see this movie on opening night and was very happy with how the movie turned out. I wasn't a huge fan of the first one. The only negative I had was that the movie did move a little bit slow and I'm not a fan of the soundtrack (the soundtrack to the first one is awesome). The special effects were great. My husband just watche Twilight for the first time last week and he liked it, was very excited for New Moon and he loved that one as well and he's eager to see the next one!
