Better than the first!

This one was definitely better than the first, but was still more of a "teen" flick. After reading the books, it's fun to see how they create a movie out of it. The acting leaves something to be desired....especially Edward. The effects were really good- especially with the Werewolves. Overall, I would say it is good, if you've read the books first.

Teenage vampire movie

After reading the book, I had high expectations. I'm not sure why though. It was a book for teenagers, and the movie followed suit- a movie for teenagers. It was enjoyable, but not great. The acting (especially Bella) could have been better. I wish they would have let the poor girl smile once in the movie. She was too solemn and overly serious for a teenage girl. I would recommend the movie to my teenage neice- she'd love it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
