I have already seen it twice over the weekend, and totally noticed more things the second time I watched it!
I can not wait until Eclipse comes out! I've already started reading the book AGAIN because I just wanted it to keep going!

i went to see the movie with my teenager. I didn't even feel like I had been sitting there for 2 hours and 10 minutes. I thought only ONE hour had passed before Edward's proposal to Bella, which, of course, was the END! I can't WAIT util the next movie is released!

I am a huge fan of the books, and was excited about the first movie. And though I enjoyed the first movie, I honestly thought it wasn't great. The New Moon is head and shoulders above Twilight, and is a much better movie - with more passion and connection to the story line. The actors did an excellent job portraying their characters. It drew you in, and didn't let go. There wasn't anyone in the audience who even bothered to move throughout the entire movie.

I am definitely going to go and see this movie again and I will purchase it on DVD when it is available in the stores! Great escapism and I love Stephenie Meyers books anyway. Go and see it...the guys will love it too...lots of action, comedy relief and oh yeah....then there is Edward! :0)

As a long-time fan of Ms. Meyer, I was a bit disappointed with the first installment of the saga, as many key points were missed or run over too quickly. This being said, I had very low expectations for the movie adaptation of New Moon. I worried that they would not be able to portray it correctly, or miss plot points to try to cram it into a 1 1/2 hour film. Luckily, only a few things were left out, the majority of which did not have a negative effect on the film's continuity. While the film is lighter with it's new director, it was still done in a way that does the book, and Ms. Meyer, a great service.

I thought it was excellent! Had some funny parts I didn't expect, that was cool, and I thought it stayed pretty true to the book. Lots of action so I think the guys will like it better that "Twilight". Jacob looked GREAT and I liked how they kept Edward on screen even though he was away. The ending was pretty abrupt, so It sure leaves you wanting "Eclipse", so I'm really looking forward to that!

Very, very close to the book. This is a great movie that really lives up to the first part. Absolutely no disappointment, it hit and exceeded my expectations all the way through! Especially the characters Edward, Bella & Jacob. They played their characters in an entirely believable way without over-acting their parts. Can't wait to see the next one!

Unlike the first Twilight movie there didn't seem to be characters or events created just for the movie. It will be interested if they bring in the story of "Imprinting" to the next movie, since they skipped it during this movie.

Much better than the first movie!! As with Twilight, it was nice being able to take my pre-teen daughter to a PG-13 movie that was appropriate for her age throughout the entire film. I thought this movie continued to be fairly true to the book which was very nice to see. Pretty good special effects during the shape shifting scenes. Overall, very good movie.

I am a HUGE fan of the Twilight series. I have read the books multiple times and watched Twilight more times than I can count. I was SO EXCITED for New Moon, but left disappointed, wanting more, and hoping that Eclipse will be better. The special effects were a HUGE leap forward over Twilight. However, the emotion struggle felt in Twilight was lacking in New Moon. The director did not bring me on a journey. I did not feel Edward's internal struggle. I did not feel Bella's struggle between Edward and Jacob. It was just scene after scene and nothing really connected things together. I misssed Bella's narration which was done well in Twilight, but very much missed in New Moon.

I am not a vampire type movie person but since the first one, I can't get my mind off the Twilight movies. New Moon was as hot, exciting, intriguing as the first one. I wasn’t ready for the movie to end when he asked her to become his wife, stunning I was yet happy and eager to see the third, the fourth one, etc… Love Twilight and recommend anyone to watch the first one before watching the second otherwise, u r going to be lost and will miss a lot. Two thumbs up, that was great. My best movie ever.

Okay, so I've always been a big Twilight Saga book fan, but this movie was so much more than I was expecting. The filming is a little more dark, and it really shows the relationships at a more heightened level than "Twilight." It was absolutely everything I could expect from the book, not to mention a gorgeous cast to look at. If you haven't seen it, it's worth the time. Even my husband liked it. And he's not into vampires and werewolves much.
