Definitely better than Twilight. Taylor Lautner does a great job as Jacob but the C-G is just sub-par. Fans of the book series will love it but still enjoyable for others.

Im a fan of the books so I was impressed with this movie. For the most part it was dead on and word for word what was written. The begining was choppy and they forced alot of information on the viewer in a short amount of time, but after that the movie gets really good. It has more action and comedy then the first which will keep fans of either genre interested. My one complaint is that they left out "Imprinting"! Also alot of people liked the cliffhanger ending but it didnt belong! that "scene" is from mid-book 3.

I'm one of the many many Twilighters out there. I love everything about the whole Twilight Saga. I'm a die hard fan among the rest. I would def, TELL not suggest but tell anyone that is interested or likes Twilight. New Moon- Is a must see! Eclipse will be even better I think. & Breaking Dawn will be the Icing on the cake for the whole Twilight Saga[in my opioion]. OVER ALL GO SEE NEW MOON!

This movie really was great - I mean I really don't think that kristen is a great actress or that Robert is super hot BUT the chemistry between the two of them on screen is AMAZING - makes it feel real - draws you into the plot - they really bring this thing alive and Taylor is great - can't WAIT for the next movie - can only get better (I hope!). I never liked vampire movies before my sister convinced me to watch Twilight and now I'm hooked! Very different from any other vampire movie I've ever seen and I was a bit skeptical about the whole werewolf thing too for this sequel but again - Taylor was FANTASTIC!!! He is definitely the best actor of all of them. CHECK THIS MOVIE OUT - You WON'T be disappointed!!!!

The make-up & costume for the Volturi just looked like a "B" sci-fi flick. Honestly, with all the money they spent, couldn't they come up with something better than white face make-up? Also, Carlise didn't look like his character at all, dressed in all pastels - his scarf even had wrinkles. Can put up with the movie just for the wolves & the bare chested guys.

I really enjoyed the movie, however, I have read all the books more than once and felt more of an emotional connection to the characters in them. I think its because they are more in depth than the movie. But the actors do a fantastic job of bringing everything to life. I will definitely but it when it comes out on DVD!

Ok not good I didnt like this movie boring at points ..really the acting was terrible almost unbearable ..though I do have to say the youngest actor Taylor was the best acting wise ...Yes I read the series it was good that too had boring parts ...maybe cause Im 35 and I cant relate to a 17 year old girl or the love story is predictable ....my niece who I brought with me it was her 12th birthday present liked the movie ...she and I were grossed out at the shirtless Edward he should have worked out or shaved his chest the nipple hair was disturbing ...should of waited for DVD release ...

The only complaint I have about this movie is that it wasn't long enough! I think it was absolutely spot on. Each of the characters seemed to jump off of the pages and onto the screen almost effortlessly. The best part about new moon (even though I am Team Edward all the way) was all of the Jacob. I liked that they didn't give into the pressure of millions of girls wanting more Edward but also found a way to include him. This book was about the relationship between Jacob & Bella and that's what was portrayed in the movie. I am happy with the Volturi and think Aro's character was very well acted. Even though there wasn't much explanation about the Volturi, all of the background items: music, set design, etc. said it all.

With a bigger budget then Twilight it was better with the CGI graphics. The movie was good...But there was alot that they left out of it that was left out that I thought that should have been in it. I would have liked to seen more animosity between Alice and Jake or even Edward and Jake. This book is suppose to be the beginning of the triangle. The book shows that...but the movie didn't.
All in all I love the movie...but something was just lacking.

The movie overall was pretty good and entertaining. I did get a little bored at times becasue there are a lot of slow moving seens. Husband did not like it and said it was a total chik flick. I tend to agree as there were alot of women in the theater screaming at the hot guys on screen. I think I liked the first one better but it was good ... just not great.

I saw New Moon at Midnight and whenever I got tired, BAAM, something AMAZING happened that woke me up. The movie followed the book so well! I loved the ending, too! It was perfect! I told EVERYBODY to go see this movie! I can't wait until Eclipse comes out! :)

I loved this movie. Mainly because its true to the book, well i think we need to understand the fact that they cannot put every little detail of the book in the movie, but they did a really good job in showing all the vital parts of the book. loved Bella' s emotions, i think this time Kristen Stewart portrayed bella nicely, i kind of felt her emotions during the break up scene, it was heart breaking. and CGI wolves were great. The voltury fighting was awesome. I actually enjoyed the whole 2 hours and 10 mins. Ending was clever. lolzz......love EDWARD.........obviously team edward.but loved jacobs acting too..........he is cute.........i had a really good time...........gona watch it again!!!!

I thought the new moon book was the most boring. I loved all of them, but felt the book just dragged o... It was great to see it c ome to life, and to see how well an actor Taylor L is. Kristan does a great job playing Bella, a hard character to portray. Special effects on edwards fight with volturi was like watching a fight game on playstation three...but the wolves were awsome. So, it was more exciting than I thought it would be, and I will go see it again. And my brother, sister,daughter, and son lol
