Effects were good, but I felt they left out so many important scenes from the book. Neville shining in front of everyone when he killed the snake right in front of Voldemort, not enough students in any fighting scenes, and watching Fred die like in the book. I so wanted to watch Potter and Voldermort circle each other in the main room..circling each other and talking, then the death scene. Much that was in the movie could have been left out. The movie was cheated due to bad scenes versus good ones that should have been in the movie. I was disappointed. If you have not read the books, go, it is a good and exciting movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought the new moon book was the most boring. I loved all of them, but felt the book just dragged o... It was great to see it c ome to life, and to see how well an actor Taylor L is. Kristan does a great job playing Bella, a hard character to portray. Special effects on edwards fight with volturi was like watching a fight game on playstation three...but the wolves were awsome. So, it was more exciting than I thought it would be, and I will go see it again. And my brother, sister,daughter, and son lol
Yes, I recommend this movie.
