New Moon was leaps and bounds better than it's predicessor "Twilight". I have read all 4 books and thought the directors and producers for New Moon did a wonderful job adapting it to screen, while still staying true to the book. I typically am not a fan of movies made based off books, because I always feel too much was left out; I did not feel that way with New Moon.
However, I will say that one scene of the movie should have been left out. It was not inappropriate or anything, it was simply cheesy, corny, etc. In fact, our entire theater laughed at that scene. Hopefully they will remove it when it goes to DVD.
Overall, wonderful movie!

Well, I reccommend that you go see this movie on ly because it is the second in a four part saga. I think they could have done a better job. They didnt really capture Bella's pain, Edward looked oddly hairy and almost joker-like through the movie. The lines were really cheesy, but Jacob managed to not dissapoint with his lovely body. I really hope they pull it together for Eclipse.

Out of the two films thus far, New Moon is the BEST!! I wish Chris Weitz was around to direct Twilight because maybe it would not have been as awkward. I think all of the actors really stepped up and showcased their acting ability in this one, especially Kristen with her portrayal of Bella.
Is there room for improvement? Sure there is, but New Moon was a very enjoyable film.

I liked the movie overall, but it was a little slow getting to the meat of the movie. The cliff-hanger was a little abrupt. However, it is always fun to see two guys fight our a girl. This is definitely a chick flick.

New Moon was true to the book. Great movie and the actors looked great. I enjoyed seeing Jacob's pecks! Edward wasn't in the movie alot but that is to be expected if you read the book. The vampires in Europe looked very frightening. I will go back and see this movie at least two more times...

I got to say when the first Twilight came out I wasn't too fond of the previews so I never watched it. I heard from a bunch of people a week before New Moon come out that Twilight was a great movie so I rented it the day before New Moon came out and that night I couldn't wait to watch New Moon the next day. Glad I finally became a fan... Both movies are great. I use to be all for TEAM EDWARD but I'm all for TEAM JACOB eversince he cut his hair and SAM is a cutie too... HOTNESS. haha. As for the movie itself I love it. It had great effects and the actors & actresses are great. I can't wait until the Eclipse.

Fantastic! It stayed true to the book. This director did a better job than the first one. I absolutely loved it. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

The Twilight Saga New Moon Will Have teen fans chewing on popcorn and begging for it to never end. one thing i did not like about the movie from the book is that parts of the movie went by a little to quick and should have added more time to some parts. but other than that, it was AMAZING

These movies are a HUGE disappointment. The actors are horrible - AGAIN! These actors need acting school.The only thing good about this movie was the wolves' transformations. That's it. Tthe movie lacked attention to detail. The books are like a blueprint - everything is laid out on a line for you to follow. How freakin hard is it? Kristen Stewart - Bella was not that spastic and weird honey - calm down. Rob Pat - Edward was supposed to be hot - not look like he's hungover sweetheart. And what is with all the stupid longing stares? Half the movie was in silence because you couldn't remember the lines in the book or something. UGH!

Mush like Lord of The Rings 2, I found this movie to be a filler to tie together the first and next movie to try to make this a coherent saga. As a movie on trying to stand its own value, it would not make the grade. If it was a movie all by itself it would be too fragmented, 2 seperate stories, one at the beginning and one at the end. Grading it for what it is, a gap filler, I found it acceptable and it would be imporatnt to further the understanding of the series.

I loved the movie, they did an excellent job on keeping it in sync with the book. The effects were Great, the fighting scenes were superb. I can't wait for Eclipse, I will be first in line again! :) Recommend it to everyone, I am also happy it wasn't a disappointment, since many times sagas can be disappointing New Moon did not let me down! If you haven't seen it, you need to go ASAP!!

I have never read the Twilight books but was filled in by my daughter. The movie had a lot of suspense, the special effects were great, and it didn't hurt to have a lot of toned bodies walking around! =)

I believe that this movie overall followed the storyline much better than the first, but there are many things that have me baffled. Wasn't Victoria a blond in the first movie and then a drastic red in the next? If you are going to change something that drastically from movie to movie, you might as well leave it alone. As for the werewolf fighting scene, the overall movement was very jerky.

I would recommend this movie to people of all ages if they like special effects, drama, alot of action and a beautiful love story. I loved the entire movie and could not take my eyes away for fear I'd miss something. Things happen quickly and you don't want to miss a thing. I can't wait until the next one comes out. The movie was very true to the book, which I appreciated as a fan of the novels. I thought it was much better produced than the first movie, the special effects were good, and the characters were well-developed. I enjoyed all two hours of it and would recommend it to a (female) friend. I don't know that it would hold a man's interest, however.
