I think this movie was great. I will say that for Twilight Saga readers, the movie brings the book to life and was WAY better than the first one. I do not know how much movie-go-ers in my age range (25-30) would enjoy the movie if they have not read the series because it is a "tweeny" movie. But as a Twilight fan, I thought the movie was good
(I do feel obligated to mention that I can do without Robert P. as Edward).
I can't wait for Eclipse!

Of course it was good, but not amazing. The reason for this negativity is that the producer and co. did exactly what I thought they would, downplayed Jacob and the wolves and upplayed the overdramatic and whiney Edward scenes (personally I think Bella is an idiot) They left out many important parts (ie imprinting!) that will eventually be important to the story. Hopefully this oversight will be rectified in Eclipse. Taylor was not only delicious to look at, but played his character to a T. In contrast, to the extreme, Robert looked rather sickly and out of shape (but anyone would be next to Taylor). Very odd. Still enjoyed the movie overall and will purchase it.

I feel the movie was better quality than Twilight. This was more of a 'Hollywood Box Office Hit'. However, as in the book, it did leave you feeling a bit empty at the end. 2 hours flew by I must say and I was ready for another 2 hours. So, in closing, the movie grabbed you but left you feeling empty at the end. I would like to see Hollywood take a turn and rope the audience in with a 'fun, flirty' relationship between Bella & Edward for just a moment..so we can feel and see their attraction without so much pain and angst.

It was an upgrade from Twilight. I read all the books before the movie came out. I am not a vampire person but got sucked into these series of books. Literally couldn't put them down. I loved Jacob and the Wolves action in the movie. Edward was just ok. I would have like to see more of the Cullens. I didn't like Bella in the first movie and still dont like her. I would like to see a harder more darker girl.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Twilight fan but this movie was about 20 minutes too long, and the ending was SOOO cliche.
There were also a couple of serious moments in the movie when people in my theater actually laughed, which is never a good sign. Overall, though...good movie.

I absolutely loved New Moon! It was better than Twilight, but they obviously had a much larger budget. New Moon followed along the lines of the book very well. It was very interesting to see the book come alive on screen. I have always been Team Edward, even during this book because I know that he is her one true love. However, watching it play out on screen, I was able to sympathize more with Jacob. I loved the way they showed the passage of time for Bella after Edward left. Books are usually way better for me than the movies, so I went to see this movie knowing that it would not live up to my imagination. I recommend Twilight lovers to see the movie, but knowing that no one can compete with a book and your imagination.

I really enjoyed New Moon I thought the direction and editing improved from Twilight and that the story was more in tune with the book. The thing I didnt like which is also what I felt was missing from Twilight is the intensity if the relationship between the characters. The actors do a great job but too many background pieces were missing. There was no discussion or indication that Edward understood how badly Bella handled his leaving or how much she needed Jacob to survive. No indication that she was tortured by it . Hopefully they wont cut the part in Eclipse where Jacob remembers it to show Edward. Just felt it was important!

I could not find one redeeming thing about the movie or the story in general. I am at a complete loss for words as to why this is such a popular franchise. I can understand why preteen girls like this movie but why anyone else would watch this and not feel like their intelligence is being insulted is beyond me. I gave it one star which only means that I acknowledge that there were flashing pictures on the screen.

This movie did a great job with the story. It was not my most favorite book in the Twilight series, but the movie made the time pass quickly throughout the story. I am old school and prefer action packed, macho man blood and guts movies but this one made me almost cry when Bella was having nightmares and missing Edward. I LOVE this moive and can't wait to see more. Oh and the wolfs...way too cool!!! I think I will drink a few brewski's and howl at the moon tonight!

I thought it was a great movie but kind of thought that Edward could have been a little more attractive considering that in the books Bella was always talking about how beautiful he was. Jacob on the other hand was a total eye candy, drool worthy, sexy, OMG! hottie! Other than the physical appeal from the movie though, I would definatly pay to see it again. Worth the money.

This movie was extremely bad. I was really looking forward to this movie but it ended up being a big disappointment. They left out so much of the book that sometimes, it almost didn't even make sense. Not to mention they added in things from the third book into the second movie and they were going to be scenes that I was really looking forward to. However now they've gone and ruined it. Lastly, the ending was TERRIBLE. It was the worst movie ending I have ever seen. DON'T go see this movie. You're just wasting your money.

I was so excited to see this movie..i literally waited like half a year for this movie...and it didnt disappoint...the acting is great...it has action, comedy, and yes it may make you cry, but you dont get lost in the story.. this movie is truely amazing just like the books..i am huge fan of the books and i cannot wait for Eclipse!!..=].. i highly recommend people to see this amazing movie...=]
