I own this on DVD and still went to see the re release to prepare for Eclipse...nuff said :)

I really enjoyed New Moon I thought the direction and editing improved from Twilight and that the story was more in tune with the book. The thing I didnt like which is also what I felt was missing from Twilight is the intensity if the relationship between the characters. The actors do a great job but too many background pieces were missing. There was no discussion or indication that Edward understood how badly Bella handled his leaving or how much she needed Jacob to survive. No indication that she was tortured by it . Hopefully they wont cut the part in Eclipse where Jacob remembers it to show Edward. Just felt it was important!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
