Although I really enjoyed Twilight, I have to say New Moon was on a totally different level. Better directing, better acting, and it mirrored the novel perfectly. I have no complaints for this one. Kristen Stewart does a tremendous job as the role of Bella again and it just seems like all of the actors really stepped it up in this one. I can't wait until Eclipse!

The movie played as "BLAH" through most of it. The relationship between Bella and Jake didn't build it just wasn't then was.
Edward looked like a airbrushed corpse. It's obvious Robert did not spend any of his hiatus working out.
Kristen's portrayal was constant and well acted.
Why the overdone makeup, the Cullen's as a whole looked fake. The 1st movie had it perfect, they looked like they could dwell with humans, here they just looked tired and wax like.
Volturi are so hot, I can't wait for the 4th movie. Nothing personal against the director, but can we have the 1st one back?

This movie was definitely better than the first I would say, but still a bit cheesy at times-books are much better (as usual). More worth renting than seeing in the theater. Jacob was hot though!

New Moon definitely was worth the wait! It was more true to the book and I didn't want to fall asleep watching like I did the first Twilight film. I would love to go and see this movie again! Girls you will for sure not be disappointed, wish I was Bella having two guys fight over me (sigh)

The second installment of the Twilight saga was without a doubt better than the first. The dialogue was much improved and only once or twice resembled a show on the WB. I am a fan of these books and although much of Jacob's story was left out, I was pleased with the screenplay overall. The actors are much more comfortable with their characters even though Edward is still a little stiff even for a vampire. Bella has even toned down that lip thing she does that someone must have told her is submissive and sexy but comes off as rehearsed. All in all I was very happy with the movie and thoroughly entertained. The forest scenes were crisp and well shot. The new director worked hard on this film and it's quite apparent.

The movie followed the book. The makeup was horrible. The men wore more lipstick than the women. Movie was a little slow or I was tired because I was asleep in the beginning and will need to see the movie again.

After reading the critics' reviews I was a little apprehensive going to see the movie. I was, however, pleasantly surprised. The wolf scenes were awesome! It was nice to have read the book and then watch the movie. I still do and probably always will love the books better then the movies, bit overall I think the movie did not disappoint.

Having read "New Moon" I can definitely say the movie stays very true to the source material. That is not always a good thing, as "New Moon" was the second weakest book in the series in my opinion. Having said that, the movie does a very good job of moving past some of the slower parts of the novel, while finishing off with a bang. If you can get past the first half of the film (that does its best with what it had to work with), the second part gives a nice payoff and it finishes strong. All in all a good effort.

I honestly believe that if I did not enjoy good movies and good actors, I would have LOVED New Moon. Too bad I have taste. The only actor in the entire film who pulled his weight was the one who played Bella's dad Charlie. Everyone else gave awkward performances the entire movie. The character who plays Jasper is awful. Every scene he is in he looks and sounds awkward. Kristen Stewart simply sighs and gasps in every scene she's in. Stupid. And every other minor character is just bad. I've read all of the books and I enjoyed them. But they're not super fantastically written novels. They are OK teen romances. And that's all I should have expected from this movie: an OK teen romance. I expected more, and I got way less.

Much more improved than Twilight. I really liked the fill in from the book on how Harry had his heart attack, good explanation. They could have left the ending more like the book's though. I wish the leading actor, Edward was better looking and his hair didn't look like he just got out of bed. After seeing Jacob's buff body, Edward is wimpy looking. I don't care for how they are making Edward look weak in the fight scenes. His mind reading always gave him the edge in all fights, he could hold his own.

Overall New Moon was a great movie. I have read the book i dont know how many times, and the similarities were very close. As in every book that becomes a movie, there is always the worry that the movie will fall flat, but not so much in the case of New Moon. Yes there were a few details that were left out of the movie, but I was and still am very please with the movie itself. All of the characters came out perfectly, including the wolves. I would definitely suggest to anyone who hasn't seen gone to watch this movie yet to get on it. If your not into the teenage vampire love triangle thing, then at least go to see how amazing Jacob Black's(Taylor Lautner) body looks. ha.

I really thought the movie was great. I do think they followed the book, but a movie can't be 5 hours long, so they did have to cut a lot out. I think the movie didn't go into Jacob and Bella's relationship as much as it did in the book, but like I said, they have time limits. Overall, the movie was really good, really exciting, and just fun to watch.
